Cannot seem to find a restaurant review thread and thought one might be a good idea. Or not, given there are probably a few Rustlers eating food heathens on here. Anyway The Savoy Grill Went there last week. The place was done up the other year and it all looks pretty classic. Went for the Omelette Arnold Bennett starter- nice enough- basically a semi-liquid-y omelette in a metal dish, but heavy for a starter. Was stuffed after that. They have fish, grill and normal mains sections on the menu. Went for venison sausages and chips, but cos I was so full, I had to go for a shit mid-meal. When I came back, the waiters had put a silver dome over my plate to keep the food warm and put fresh cutlery down. Nice touch. Food fine but expensive, service good but no atmosphere- large room but only three tables including ours with anyone eating. Overall 6/10 Anyone else?
