I have no idea why the media go crazy over players using laughing gas. And where did the Hippy Crack nickname come from?

No one would take seriously if they said it is laughing gas. Apparently in the video Guendozi passes out and Ozil looks half knocked out. Not sure if laughing gas gets that effect. Maybe if taken in big quantities

Sniffing gas from ballons? How eager are people to get high?!
Just read a small article about it which said losing conciosuness is a side effect of using laughing gas, but besides that there aren't any significant dangers. People have died from it but that was from excessive usage, which really anything excessive can kill you.

Guendouzi losing consciousness does look bad though. The senior players should get a bigger rap about this, influencing a younger player and putting him in the danger. Can't imagine what wouldn't happened to the players if they were playing under SAF and this video was released.

Wellll he doesn't seem to be doing it himself and I don't think there was anything mentioned in the Quran against Nitrous Oxide  I'm not defending him, I am a Muslim myself and it's dumb to say you can't be around alcohol when noone is asking to drink it.

Nothing about nitrous oxide? That shows it's not a book for all time. Needs updating.

They looked like they were all on gas during both our goals. Granted so did we for theirs.

Apparently food grade Nitrous Oxide is readily available in the UK (Not banned) whereas MJ is still a schedule 1 “drug” that’ll get you locked up for years.

So for the lads having a toke of Nos it’s a non issue from a legal viewpoint, if they’re using food grade that is, but put that herb in a bowl and have a puff your doing porridge!

I have no problem with the MJ in any way, as there’s next to zero chance of you ODing (I’m living proof:) but as for Nos, that shite could cause a lack of oxygen and it’s goodnight Irene!

But for pro athletes to do either is the epitome of stupid..

Football players are well known for a bit of that though.

It wears off after thirty seconds or so and there is no hangover/come down, or any real lasting effects as far as I know

Stuff like that can actually be very dangerous. I worked with someone who lost his daughter due to her consuming the gas from a helium balloon.

Hippy crack  no one calls it that other than the papers trying to make it into a bigger thing.

It's something and nothing. Of course there's the odd story, but it's nothing compared to the thousands of balloons done all over the country every weekend.

As far as health and performance goes it’s far less of a problem than having a few pints, which rags like the Sun would never take the moral high-ground over.

Hippy Crack is one of the most ridiculous hype names the papers have come up with to try and make it sound like these people are shooting up.

Things have changed. From The Tuesday Club to Nitrous Oxide. I wouldn't be surprised if a few United players have done the same, well players from every club if I'm being honest. These guys have more money and free time than they know what to do with.

Its a non story though because what is Emery going to do? Send our two main strikers, best playmaker and a senior central defender to the reserve team? At best they will all be warned to not do it again (not get caught) or fined a small amount that will go towards a charity.

    fecking idiots.

Hippy crack is the THC crystals in the bottom of a weed grinder that drop through a 00 gauze, hence leaving a crystally THC crack hit.

    So I'm told.............

Absolute non story for me. Not illegal, not dangerous, not likely to be detrimental to sporting performance. The only thing is the bad example for kids line but this basically bullshit to me anyway.

How has the Sun obtained this footage? Isn't it security footage?
And this footage is from August, so why is it been released now?
Of course the Sun uses 'Hippy Crack' because it sounds more shocking than 'Nitrous oxide' or 'Laughing Gas'

Forget our goals, Lacazette 'celebrated' his goal against us by lying on the ground for about 2 minutes... during which time we equalized...

Then he got up and did this...

The guy's clearly hepped up on goofballs.

I'm loving this new Arsenal to be fair - they're ruddy mental.

Singular? That's a very low quantity, I know brain damage and death can happen, but that usually takes a hefty amount for that to happen, either very unlucky or someone wasn't telling the whole truth (or a horse sized balloon was used).
