What a fall from grace. Remember him being highly rated around the 2010 WC.

At one point he was so famous the papers were saying him and Rihanna (pop star) are a couple. What a fall from grace this was

I remember arguing with someone here who was saying he was the best RB in the world and he would be amazing for us. He was never really that good.

Guilt tripped into staying i see. Sanchez had the balls to leave but Wenger grovelled to Ozil and he couldn’t say no.

I'm happy that we got van der Wiel. Regardless of his recent European spell, he'll be a definite upgrade on Beitashour. Also, we still have some Team Allocation Money left over for another good signing!

We should be in for him. Just inform his agent and pay that release clause.

Oblak is a goalkeeper I rate, would be a very good transfer for Arsenal.

Spent a fair bit recently Arsenal, like 115m on Lacazette and Auba.

But Oblak costs 100M on his own.

True. They've actually not spent a dime this season though. Despite spending 115M, so in theory they should have a war chest of cash. In theory.

They're notorious skinflints despite having the most expensive season tickets in the world. They could do with investing in Oblak but I don't think they will put that amount of money in that area. Would be worth it for the meltdown from Liverpool fans though if Arsenal sign him and Liverpool don't bother.
