That time of year again. Not long to go before transfer window opens. Copying the rules from the summer thread:

Wasn't VRodriguezlaw fairly spot on with the Pogba transfer?

    We should be after Draxler.

I'd take Bazoer, he'd be a good addition to the squad and a perfect replacement for Schneiderlin.

Yeah, a guy that can't get off the bench for Ajax, he'll slot right in our first 11.

He hasn't got a single goal or assist all season for Wolfsburg, and this seems to be the second club he has made a mess of with regards to the fans (they booed him off the pitch last game) and he actually said he wants to leave, so I'm not sure. That said, he really was quite impressive at the Euros.

Definitely some attitude issues there but undoubted talent.

Agreed, his situation at Ajax is a bit strange but he's young and clearly talented, someone I could see developing in the holding role for Jose.

Do they know he's not free?

Player with questionable attitude and people want him here? Half the problems at Utd are down to attitude/mentality. Would not touch him with a fecking barge pole.

Even if he had mata's attitude I don't think he is any better than gotze current level.

Don't see where they'd play him. Really, none of the top 5-6 PL sides have much need for Draxler. Everyone's pretty well stocked in the attacking midfield positions.

There literally aren't any players we could buy during the winter window.

On the bench because he's leaving, he's a highly rated young player linked to clubs like Arsenal and Juve he's probably got a bright future ahead of him.

I understand why The Sun is banned, but I think a special allowance should be made for Custis personally. He's been pictured as one of the journos Ed Woody has briefed before and I think he does have some genuine United connections. Feel free to reject, just a thought

Where would he fit in, Juve don't play with wingers, they spent a few quid on Pjaca and he's nowhere to be seen

Its a good chance we will see something this window. Its not Payet, so no point spending time in that thread. I dont have names, but one of them is top class, but not playing so much at the moment. Guess we will know more soon.

Polite request for this thread to be a "tweet only" thread, and not a transfer discussion thread. Feel like discussions should happen in separate threads, like in player transfer threads.

Still has no place in this thread. He's not going to be briefed on transfers as we don't brief on transfers anymore and haven't since Moyes personally briefed journalists for his own benefit.

Top class as in Ibra, Pogba, Mata, Micky bracket? Starting 11 player should I say?

We already have a few top players like Pogba, Martial, Ibra, Bailly, De Gea, Miki. I dont think we need to be signing stellar players but we need to be looking at getting players with a good mentality who will give 110% and dig in every signle match in the way Bailly and Herrera do.

Really hope not, he doesn't solve the problems of the team and forces us to play a #10.

William Carvallho might be a good signing in January but I don't know if we can get him mid season.

You are right. Its no doubt that if he can do business this window, it will be a starting 11 player.
