I'll be quite relieved when he signs somewhere else. We probably were never really interested but still, it would put my mind at ease knowing Woody doesn't have the option.

Just no. I am unsure if he's even an improvement on Dalot.

'Perfect', thinks Woodward. That'll knock another couple mil off the price.

If we sign him after this, I swear to God I’ll lose my shit.

This guy will be 29 in September. If we sign him, I may actually go insane. He is not a major improvement on Ashley Young, which says it all. Would rather give Dalot a go.

He's not good at all. Good at taking set pieces, awful in open play.

What an abomination of a player. Cowardly backward passes all game. He really is Ashley Young in disguise. Anyone paying actual money for him is a lunatic.

Worst player on the pitch tonight and that's saying something.

I was surprised Liverpool didn’t attempt to target him more.

Poor performance to cap off a poor season. Avoid like the plague.

This sounds like something United would be stupid enough to do.

Wouldn't go quite that far, Wijnaldum was woeful. I'll give you worst spurs player on the pitch though.

Juve have done very strange transfers lately, like spending 100m on Higuain and Ronaldo (plus the overall package that came with it)

Sorry folks. This one isn't happening. Off to City/PSG/Barca.

Given the importance of full backs now in the game, just makes total sense for United to go the extra mile and splash out on Wan-Bissaka, not a short term solution like Trippier.

Trippier is made for Harry Kane. A match in heaven. Kane is a top quality header, reason why you have a good precise crosser in Trippier. Somebody are just meant for each others. Lukaku is big and tall too. But not sure he will stay. But that is my point. You get to have a really good header in the box or a clinical finisher. Its Kane time at Spurs, then its get to be a good crosser there too. And they have it in Trippier.

He really isn't - on paper possibly but in practice 90% of Trippiers crosses are misplaced and his defending is absolutely shocking. Kane is good in the air but he isn't a big lumping target man in the way Llorente is who only works if you get crosses into the box.

This, also factoring in that Trippier's best position is as a wingback with a centre half to occupy his space so they can double up on the inside of the flanks. We thankfully don't play a system with three at the back Trippier is calamitous in a back four. He offers nothing defensively and will mirror Dalot in this regard.

They both belong further up with the pitch or with defensive assistance for their incompetence. The good news with Dalot is he has speed to accommodate his attacking play, Trippier is slow and small.

Also to add that Solskjaer's specifically highlighted spurs weakness in fullbacks earlier in January, it was Ben Davies and Kieran who got taken to the cleaners when isolated with our front line.
