2-1 Feyenoord. Deserved. Napoli have completely given up in the second half.

Brahim Diaz and Foden been real positives today, Bernardo, Yaya and Gundogan should hang their heads in shame.

Only City are the only possible side who can win the Champions League. It begins in February now when the big boys show up so you can beat Juventus, Bayern, Madrid, Barcelona will all be at the top of their game and If they are, there isn't much English teams can do

Shaktar deserve that. They were much the better team.

I think playing our B-team and three kids and having the derby on Sunday had a lot to do with us half-arsing the game, haha.

City get their standard penalty as always. I swear they get more penalties than any other team in Europe. I wonder what the statistics are. They must be way out in front.

They aren't nearly the forces they were over the last few seasons. Absolutely no reason why an English club, and not just City, can win it this year.

Tbf, it was very much a second string side. Just 3/4 could say they are first team players.

Yeah not even the ref and Jesus could save them this time though. Not on sunday either hopefully. De Gea will save the cheap penalty and us to win 2-0!

The Europa League this season is strong. Napoli, Atletico, Dortmund, Leipzig and Sporting going there is not bad. Glad we won it last year

Sevilla look shit. I would probably want them the most. After that Porto then Shaktar. I want to avoid Bayern the most think they will be really difficult this season. Real Madrid is tricky though as they could turn it around still I don't fear them that much at the moment.

I was saying to a city poster that there is a culture of playing for the penalty in City, as there is in all Guardiola teams. I dont mean that they are diving, but that Pep tells them to take tackles when in the box and play for the penalty. He tells them to keep moving and trying things that will lead to a penalty.

Shaktar better team, no complaints. We were really poor first half and moderately poor in the 2nd. Foden, Diaz did well, if I was Pep I'd leave Bernardo and Gundogan at home for the derby and put those 2 on the bench. They've earned it and the later 2 have offered nothing tonight. In a game where they should be trying to play their way into the squad they did a combined feck all. Diaz created more in his half hour than they did in an hour and a half, as did Foden from left wing back.

Was a great competition to be part of when we were in it in 2010 and 2012. Loads of great memories. Must be even better to win it. Hasn't exactly done Sevilla or Chelsea or yourselves any harm.
