Barca's second best player og pops up again. Easily outscoring Suarez I'd say.

Should have been a second goal by Mbappe! Bayern sloppy to close out the game.

United, P.S.G, Roma and Barca win the group, while Basel, Bayern, Chelsea and Juventus finish second.

Ah, of course. No match without an injury scare. Hope Coman is ok

Souness just claimed Utd will reach the semi at best.
How can he be so specific?

Atletico Madrid in the Europa League. Enough reason for Griezmann to come to us? (If we still want him)

Benfica 6/6 losses now. Portuguese league must be absolute dog shit for one of their best teams to be losing easily to the likes of Basel and Moscow.

Roma are not the easiest of teams to beat, but would have atleast preferred them as an option in the draw. With Chelsea finishing second, the chances of getting Real, Bayern or Juve have just doubled.

It's literally the first words said when they come back to the studio!
Ah semi finals at best for feck sake.
Not that it's an insult, he just has to immediately put a negative spin on things

Pretty sure he is still locked to play CL for us though...

    OT:
Actually too bad Chelsea did not win - would have increased our chance of not drawing the likes of Bayern, Juve and Real Madrid

Bayern still didn't look very good, especially defensively. PSG had a really poor game with a Neymar who couldn't wait to get out of there. Overall, the two teams treated this game exactly as it is, a relatively meaningless one.

PSG 8 shots on goal -> 1 goal - Bayern 4 on goal, 3 goals.
    Wasn't really a "3:1" result.

Currently, from the qualified teams so far, we either get Juventus or Bayern for the first Knockout Round

PSG is in bit of lesser form atm, just lost against Strasbourg this weekend and Bayern is still a huge and dangerous team and took their chances better.

Let's see how many teams will look entirely solid defensively against the firepower PSG is packing. Also their defense didn't look much better, right? ;)

Group G seems to be the easiest opponents, Seville might be a good draw too, if they finish second. Hypothetically teams we can get-
    Madrid
    Porto
    Shakhtar/napoli
    Munich
    Juve

Not the league, just the team. Saw the Vigo disaster and this is just another European embarrassment. Horrible transfer window turned the CL campaign into dog shite.

If Sevilla beat Maribor and Moscow beat Liverpool, we get Moscow which ain't so bad. And Liverpool go into the Europa, should be a fun meltdown for sure.

Actually - I thought that would be a lot worse without Martinez who really is the guy that stabilizes the defense. I thought we looked good as this was not the 1A - defensive setup. Alaba just came back from injury, Süle instead of Boateng, no Martinez, Tolisso instead of Vidal.

But in the second half you remarked that there is still fitness lacking. That should be better in spring after some adjustments in the winter break.

I thought it was great that Bayern's french players were shining against PSG... :) Tolisso with 2 goals, Coman with 2 assists

Chelsea has like a 70% chance of drawing Barça or PSG in the next round if Liverpool finish first. They'll regret not beating Atletico.

First team to ever do so. 1 goal scored, 3 own goals, 2 red cards.

Now watch them win the league at the end of the season.

we're getting besiktas, you know it

honestly, i'd rather City. City-PSG(to show Neymar and Mbappé they'd be better off telling the sheiks to feck off and come to Madrid :D)-Barcelona in the final is the dream :drool::drool::drool:

When you sell your best players everyseason, don't have money from Russians, Arabs or China is easy to say the others are dog shit, tbf it was the first time I remember a club from Portugal with 0 points in Champions League, not even Boavista or Braga, only Sporting with 2 in 2000 or something like that, but no excuses for 0 points I guess.
