And now Ofcom have ensured that the TV rights should be split between multiple broadcasters so the consumer is the one who loses out by having to pay probably as much per month to watch not even half the games than other countries pay in a year to watch every match. Sucks for us that BT was allowed to have all European matches while the PL ones are split between two broadcasters (and probably soon to be 3-4 if the likes of Amazon are continuing to splash the cash).

The bigger picture of UK viewers paying a fecking fortune for the football and still not being able to watch all their club's matches is worthy of the fuss but I agree that within the constraints of the current system we have little to moan about really. 58 games on the bounce is a decent run in fairness .

It's not exclusive to the UK, and it's a fecking travesty. Can't wait until these old structures are outbid, and the ancient, shitty bundling business models and faux restrictions the broadcasters are still imposing for no good reason are abandoned, for good.

Would be quite something if this turns out to be the tie of the round and an end to end footie match.

In Japan? You'll probably be able to watch it live in Japan, possibly even with the option of an English commentary. It's only in the country where the matches are actually played where you can't watch them.

It was a good run indeed .

I have a solution for people . If you have MUTV then hide until they show the game the next day.

I would watch it and enjoy it immensely. Japanese pronounce the Si sound as Shi so they say Manchester Shitty.

Ah, that's a shame. It was a nice record to have, and of course it was always good to have us on TV.

It's not like the good honest folks of Redcafe will be streaming this game either.

    Crying shame.

I would say its good thing, during that 12 year run United has 1 FA cup to show for it.

Wait, if we're playing this on a Friday, surely it will be televised?

That’s very weird, I thought it was confirmed to be on a 3 PM Saturday slot if it isn’t televised?

Yep, still a 3 PM kick-off on the official FA web-site. This is very strange.

It's been moved to Friday night as City are playing at home in their game at 3pm on the Saturday. At that hour it's either Utd or City playing at home, not both for policing and matchday security reasons.

Utd's game won't be televised in the UK on friday night either as the merseyside derby is on.
