Does this mean we will beat Burnley on Sunday?
Thank god for our legacy...
I wonder if all this bad news on the media is still good news in the eyes of the board i.e. more hits / exposure etc
Who the feck are the Dallas Cowboys? When I think of NFL teams, it certainly isn't them.
Do we get a trophy?
This is what we’re all about now. Off-pitch success
Makes sense why we wouldnt spend the extra 20m on Toby.A or the extra 5m on Perisic last season.
Needed to keep that money to make top of this list
About time we started playing like a big club then, right?
Yesssssss thank you so much ed, time for a statue!
Most valuable club in the world and we still have a back four of Valencia Smalling Jones and Young. It's difficult to understand how it's possible
Vote for a behind-the-scenes documentary to understand Woodward's wheeling and dealing. If City have one for their proirity area -- success on the pitch, we can have one for our priority -- competing with the Dallas Cowboys in the money league.
Take that Spurs!
Better than the Denver Broncos
oh come on, they're "America's team" and everyone knows the cowboys. They're just in a slump like we are. Imagine when both teams start winning again though - value $6b easily
Open top bus parade for Ed Woodward?
Former glory hunter favorite, like Manchester United....
Same can be said about United. Currently not competing for actual trophies on the field.
If price is going up (close to the limit), maybe Glazers are trying to sell? Just a thought.
Great! Excellent! Fantastic growth!!
Now sell us.
"Aww, the Dallas Cowboys?"
It says a lot about the club and its appeal that we can be so shit, and still maintain a popularity bigger than anyone else in the game. You cant buy that. No matter how many terrorists you employ to cattleprod your opinions into people.
As a fan, these are the sorts of moments you look forward to. This is why we're here. Very proud.
Scrimping on that CB tipped the balance.
Time for the G’s to sell up. Peak profit cash in and go. We need a state backed trillion dollar owner who laughs at £200,000,000 for a player when that’s less than his kids pocket money.
No other way to dominate going forward with clubs cooking books and corruption.
Basically the Liverpool of the NFL - were dominantly good in the 70s when the sport was exploding in popularity with TV broadcasts, etc and then again in the 90s. Earned the nickname "America's Team", etc. Basically have not contended in about 20 years, but still command prime time viewing and coverage. You'll find a Cowboys fan at every bar showing NFL in the entire damn world.
Oddly popular here in Austria because of "Wembley"-Toni Fritsch, who played for Rapid Wien and the Austrian national team and then the Cowboys in the 70s. Still the only player ever to win a title in both association football and american football.
So why are we penny pinching on players? £55-60mil for Toby literally wouldn't even scratch the surface.
League championships (5)

Division championships (22)
NFL Capitol: 1967, 1968, 1969

Looks like the Liverpool of the NFL (except the Cowboys won a few trophies in the past five years).
Great news for fans who've been rinsed the last 5 years with little in return!
I would love that to be the case but it’s more like wishful thinking I’m afraid and who would throw 4+ billion at a football club?
Its double edge swords i think. Every clubs knows how much money United have and they will try to get every penny they can from us.
That won't matter to the Glazers.
The Glazers will be happy though. Financially, we are in a very strong position and while this is the case, as far as they are concerned, the likes of Woodward and Jose are doing a fantastic job.
This what we were waiting for, get hype lads!
Now imagine if we had the top-level management and structure to match. We're putting what's been built by Fergie at risk, need invested owners and a new management structure.
Manchester Are Great Again !!!!
This is actually a bit of a problem. Ed Woodward will have strolled into work today feeling totally validated in everything that he's done in the last 5 years. I think him and the Glazers actually think this sort of thing makes the fans happy.
Is this a good enough reason to post this?
True - but we get overcharged anyway because we're Utd. So it literally makes no difference.
