Ben Arfa, 2-0 Newcastle.
Great finish by Ben Arfa. Knew he'd score from that position.
Newcastle have been very good. totally deserved. Fantastic counter attack..
Fuck me we haven't played like this for...well ever.
Weird how Newcastle are making the "FM signings" and it's actually paying off well, brilliant goal.
Ben Arfa 0-2. Really poor defending, just backed off and came off balance. Well taken goal mind
Yes! Come on you geordies.
I like this Ben Arfa fella. Always though he looked decent enough when he played in France but didn't know if he'd cut it in the Premier League, but he's playing well this year, in a Newcastle team who are good to watch with their attacking options. With Alan Pardew as manager! Football, bloody hell!
I'm glad Ben Arfa is starting to play more. Great little player
Ben Arfa to score a hattrick, and then be on the bench against Liverpool.
Newcastle could go 11 points clear of Liverpool if they maintain this, and win their home game against Liverpool next week.
He was bigger talent than Benzema but he got too big headed instead of working.
I honestly think that he'll be at his best, we'll witness the best dribbler in the league.I haven't seen in the PL a player who can be better than him in tight spaces, he just needs to find consistency and maturity in his game
When you know your opponent is a very good dribbler it's almost suicidal to throw yourself at him.Very hard to defend against if he's on song
If Ben Arfa could add consistency to his game then he'd be unplayable. But he goes missing for too many games.
Glad Toon are winning.
This gives me hope that Newcastle are keeping up their form and can get something from the game against City in a few weeks time, or am i wrong to hope for that? Are they in contention for Europe anyway?
They will be well in contention for Europe, in the driving seat in fact if they won this.
Every time I saw him for Lyon and Marseille he was shocking, no work rate, went on selfish runs and held on to the ball for too long and hit crazy speculative shots from 30 yards. Generally he was shit.
Every time I have seen him play for Newcastle he has been fantastic. Like two different players.
that game is way off. A lot could happen in between.
Ben Arfa playing well. He really should be starting week in, week out for Newcastle.
Cisse, 3-0 Newcastle.
Great goal. Toon bossing this.
Second for Cisse 3-0.Great play from Ben Arfa
3-0. Turning into a rout.
City still have to go to Newcastle too. Let's hope they are still motivated like today
Jesus titty fucking Christ.
What a signing.
If Everton/Sunderland reach the final, then only the top 5 in PL will make it to europe as Liverpool already qualified.
Great work for Ben Arfa for the third. He retrieves the ball and ends up with the assist.
Newcastle have two very good Senegalese strikers, IMO Cissé is even better than Ba
Second last game of the season. It'll probably all depend on what happens at the Etihad the game before, but it might not even matter by then. The title race might already be over.
yup. Hope Newcastle are still rampant when City go there. also this will not be good for Liverpool
Colo feeling his hamstring. Shit.
I don't have particularly high hopes in the Newcastle defence, but they have a great array of attacking players going forward to trouble City, with Tiote anchoring. We found out the hard way ourselves in the New Year
Lack of maturity and the intense pressure to perform in France.Since he was a kid (14-15 years) he was expected to be a great awesome player. He always had a mountain like pressure on his shoulders and the same time he was bit arrogant and dare I say stupid.
Leaving France for a change of context and a sort of rebirth was the best choice he made for his career so far.
Whatever happen to West Brom or have they not turned up? They are a decent side at home
West Brom have been alright this season, they just haven't turned up today and Newcastle has been deadly in front of goal when given the chance.
4 wins in 14 home games.
