He was pretty good in robocop's game.
Still a relative newb Danny. Think he's played about 2-3 games up here, but a good few in the newbies, Damien will know.
So the standard thing to say here is that either the evils are mainly newbs getting rid of A dangerous player or they are experienced players trying to make it look like a newb team.

It was quite clear Silva was just dicking about.
If Cider feels that what Silva said suggests he's a wolf then let him call a duel. I'll advocate it for one.
I was trying to see what the responses of people would be of course.
And so it begins, this duel business is going to end up a funny addition I think
Why would you think it can't happen?
Silva's not the sharpest tool in the box by anyone's definition, he clearly wanted the duel to happen; whether he wanted this because he's a stupid Wolf or a stupid Villager is anyone's guess, but the fact remains that he wanted the duel to go ahead. Ignoring the fact that Weaste didn't bold his request (probably an intentional ommission) since nobody seemed to have clocked on about it having to be bold to be valid, certainly not Silva if you read his subsequent posts (he mentioned the spelling error but not the lack of bolding), that means that to our minds only one more idiot needed come along and we'd be having a duel right now between Weaste and one of our most respected players B19. I'm confused as to how you're so easy to conclude all this shit as being meaningless.
Morning village. Anybody care to offer me a quick summary. Drunk last night/meeting this morning.
Yeah I got that, it was a good move.
Fucking hell Cider, if you really are certain I'm a wolf then challenge me to a duel, we can both submit the 'shoot' option twice and that will clear my name (if you were good and me evil then I would die regardless of the option we submit) it will also allow us to find out weather or not AN will tell us which options the users submitted (I've already PM'd him about this but he doesn't want us to know yet for some reason).
I'm not offering anyone any duels.
We should leave this dueling shite until such a time as we're dead sure it'll work to our benefit, i.e. for killing off known Wolves. If we go ahead and just start dueling everyone we suspect then the game's gonna end in a Wolf victory very quickly.
There's only been four pages!
1. I didn't think Weaste was being serious.
2. I don't think Silva was either.
3. Even of he was, I very much doubt he would be so quick to jump on it as a wolf.
If you doubt him because of it fair enough, have the balls to stand behind your doubts and lay down the challenge. You're overly aggressive all the time when you play though Cider, with your insults and threats. Back your conviction up, I'll advocate it.
It's not even 3 pages yet you lazy git!
^ Oops make that 4.
That's an interesting thought. I'm not dueling anybody unless we can be absolutely sure that it'll end up in our advantage, but the above sounds like it'd work. This could be a major flaw in AN's duel system though so I imagine he's gonna have to address the issue; seemingly we can just win by dueling one another systematically whilst all picking 'shoot'; the only ones to die would be the Wolves.
This is actually a very good idea and a good way to make a safe list. Not very fair for the wolves though.
We can't just duel everyone we suspect ffs. Are you gonna encourage the next guy who suspects somebody to just duel him? The next player to raise suspicions also?
I am lazy, but I am now up to speed. This duel malarcky could be fun, it's got cider's knickers in a twist already!
It'd break the game.
Why not? If it pisses you off I'm all for it.
Seriously though, I agree we shouldn't just be calling duels on everyone, but I think you over reacted to a bit of first game morning frivolity. Calm down, you'll give yourself a coronary.
Not necessarily. It would only work if the actions taken are actually announced. Otherwise, whenever a wolf challenges a villager under this particular pretense all he has to do is derail from the 'shoot' option and we lose another villager. That's the main reason I'd quite like to see a duel today, so we can clear that aspect of the duel. If the actions are announced then we can clear one suspect at a time, if they are not then the duels should be preserved for special occasions only.
Think about this:
If everybody on the population list duels the player below them, always selecting shoot as their option, then all the Wolves would die (some Wolves might survive the first time around if they happened to be dealing each other, but then we could just randomize the list and do the process again). The Wolves would be forced to select an option other than shoot in order to save themselves, but then the Priests would know who the Wolves were because they'd be told that a non-Wolf had died and would know exactly who killed him. I'm pretty sure that if we got organised we could win the game today this way; the Duel system doesn't work for this reason.
Wouldn't work for the Wolves.
Any Wolves deviating from the shoot option would be caught by the Priests.
How would we win today? You can only have one duel a day. For someone so anal about the intricacies of the game you'd think you could have read up on the fucking rules.
Furthermore, even if the Wolves instigated false-Priests amongst themselves in order to give us conflicting information, we could just ignore all Priest claims and just carry on with the arranged dueling system; the five Wolves would certainly be killed long before they could kill enough Villagers to win the game. I don't think they could survive even the first run-through; even if two Wolves were next to one another in the list, the top one would be killed first so wouldn't be able to save the bottom one of the two.
It's very easily to make the mistake he did to be fair, I made the same mistake as him initially.
But the duels are very much in favor of the village regardless of it being one person per day. The only way in which having such an advantage can be is if the roles AN hasn't devolved to us are evil and to be honest I can't see that being the case.
Yeah you're right, I thought one duel could begin as soon as the last was concluded. But nevertheless we could start today and systematically root out the Wolves day by day.
To be honest, it's not easy to make that mistake if you bother reading it. It's pretty emphatically clear.
Shock horror, new rules not fully understood on first day!
The point remains; the system would work; we can begin safelisting players and killing Wolves from right now if we follow it - it would be impossible for the Wolves to win.
I don't know why we're even discussing it. It's a game breaker as far as I'm concerned.
Yeah Cider, well done, you've broke the game.
We would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for that pesky cider!
I might as well step in now:
Only one duel can take place every 48 hours (duels can still be issued upon the completion of a previous duel however)
That should put a stop to any potential game-breaking (though I haven't been arsed to work out the logistics)
Away we go.
Yeah but it's a big enough of a game-breaker to make the duel system redundant in its current state. I'm not proposing we go ahead with it, I'm suggesting AN come up with a way to fix it.
I suggest someone challenges Cider to a duel for fucking up the duel system. I bet he did it just because it's something new that he didn't come up with. Jealous turd.
I bet you got a few pm's of some wolves bricking it!
Silva broke it with his 'clear my name' suggestion, I just pointed out that the same tactic would clear everybody's name whilst killing all the Wolves.
I don't think Silva knew that at the time though, which makes me inclined to believe he is innocent.
Separate names with a comma.
