They have a really solid team, not going to be easy when we play them.

    Gibbs is awful though...

Saw it on SSN and was baffled. Grzegorz Krychowiak. What a signing. Plus he looks like a young Val Kilmer.

Krychowiak was the dog's bollocks during the last euros. He is just bollocks now.

Definitely Gibbs' level, Krychowiak is a great deal though - if this has been on the cards for a while it might explain why they were willing to let Fletch leave (although that still remains one of the stranger un-important transfers of the window).

    He's a very limited player.

Good signing for WBA though. Say what you want about Pulis. He's done a great job at WBA.

Surely Arsenal could have used Krychowiak?

Very good signing for both Krychowiak and WBA imo. Krychowiak will play for a team that's set up defensively and where he won't have to orchestrate things like he would in a dominating team and WBA get a very good defensive midfielder. Half a year late really. Lack of call up to our NT kicked him in the arse it seems.

Krychowiak will probably play in a 4 man midfield with Barry, Livermore and Yacob, bit of a change from Verratti.

Seriously, the two most boring fixtures on our calender are WBA away and WBA at home. Sick of watching our team trying to break down Pulis' bus and these two are just going to add to that.

Absolutely, he was a rock for Sevilla and would've been perfect for their needs.

I genuinely don't know what's up at Arsenal, rumors say they are not going to bring anyone in.

The signings they've made are pretty good for the most part but now it feels like they're oversubscribed with defenders/defensive midfielders and not many good forwards. Kind of the opposite of City and Pep, I guess.

It would be interesting to see how they did if they kept Chadli and afforded him and the other attacking midfielders a bit more freedom but Pulis will probably continue to operate with the intention of keeping things tight and giving little away.

West Brom still have Tony Pulis as manager last time I checked.

Couple of very good signings for WBA. Not a huge fan of them but they're shaping up to be a solid top 8-10 side this season. Good for them.

Krychowiak was a star at Sevilla and very good at Reims before so there's certainly a good player there. Aside from last season at PSG he was consistently good throughout his career. Hope he can get back to form and get back into national team in time for World Cup, we need him.

I thought Hegazi looked pretty decent for them. Gibbs is going to compete with him I presume.

Your NT coach met him 2 weeks ago and told him he has to play regularly if he wants to be part of the WC.

Then I guess all parties will have to thank Nawałka for what he's done, he's off your payroll at the moment, he's a chance to play himself into possible definite transfer away from PSG and we need him in our NT

    Yeah everybody is happy

    - the club for the FFP
    - the player
    - the fans who think it doesn't make sense for him to stay and be ignored by the coach

Good signings for West Brom. I reckon they can get a top 8 finish.

Gibbs, a left back, is going to compete with Hegazy, a centre back? Not sure about that.

If anything, he'll be competing with Brunt for the left back slot.

West Brom were my favourite team to watch around the late middle of last season besides Chelsea, have a lot of time for them, they play like bastards.

Given the dearth of half decent holding midfielders I'm surprised Krychowik ended up at WBA. West Ham were offering the house for William Carvalho and somehow missed on this.

WBA aren't exactly a top club

gibbs i always felt was an average player not good enough for a top club so to see him at an average midtable club is just about right.

When everyone's available probably something like:

    Foster
    Dawson- Hegazi- McAuley- Brunt
    Barry
    Phillips- Krychowiak- Livermore- Rodriguez
    Rondon
I wouldn't like to be a season ticket holder.

Evans is not sold yet right? Gibbs will probably start as well over Brunt.

Krychowiak is one hell of a signing for them. This guy was linked with United and Arsenal last summer.

It's strange the move to PSG didn't work out considering he was playing under the same manager that he excelled under at Sevilla.

Krychowiak has been excellent tonight for West Brom, arguably his best performance since joining. Gifted footballer when 'on it'. Hopefully he gets his career back on track and playing at Champions League level again.

He has been surprisingly average for them until tonight. Clearly a good player though.
