Would like to of seen Rafael stay in the side, but good team regardless.

Edit: Nice one the two above.

    No Scholes at all.

    But we'll win 4-0.

No Rafael, hopefully just rested rather than injured. Glad to see Nani back in the squad too

Surprised about Rio starting and Rafa dropping out. Other than that it's as expected.

    Hernandez hat trick.

Would have liked Scholes on the bench to be on the safe side, but on the plus side Pogba is staying this week.

It's interesting for this game and the last, we've only had 1 defender on the bench.

probably rested, more surprised that Rio is starting but it could be a testament to Wigans recent form.

Glad to see Nani on the bench aswell, lets get him some minutes.

Have we ever had a match day thread, in the history of the caf, that hasn't had people posting stuff like "I can see us losing this one", "we're gonna draw this, I can feel it" etc?

Plus with Smalling and Jones being so versatile, it gives us a bit more scope in that department.

United have played Wigan 14 times. 14 wins, no draws no losses. It would be a brave man to bet on anything else today. Knock on wood.

Bit worried about Giggs in midfield but he's a class act.

Yeah, he's been a little too cute and lackadaisical in the last two games.

Hernandez was dire against Blackburn so it's pretty much one game in one game out at the moment.

This side will not play pretty football, that's for sure. There's no real magic, besides Rooney and occasionally Giggs. We need Scholes, Welbeck and Nani on song to play nicely.

There's a lot of grit though, and maybe that is what matters in this games.

Might also have something to do with the fact that Hernandez has a great record against Wigan.
