Will Jose be sacked if he is going to do LVG 2015-16 and finish outside top 4?

it is clear we're shit at attacking. 3 Week ago, we still challanging for titles, now the title is gone and we fight for top 4 places, I wonder what's going to happen in next two months?

How can we prevent it from happening to us?

If we finish outside the top 4 he should absolutely be sacked.

I hope not. We can't keep sacking managers. Besides, who else would you have?

Unless he does the near impossible and wins the CL, he should go.

But only if we find a good replacement, of which there are none at the moment.

Don't think we will finish outside of the top 4 but yeah think he should definitely go if we do. No idea who we'd go for though.

It's honestly not even a question. Woodward has shown what happens when we don't make it.

Mourinho has been given plenty of money. Maybe not enough to win the league but if he doesn't see United finish in the top four - he's gone.

Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

I disagree. It's a different world. If there's someone who can replace him do it, my question is, who is there? Poch? Don't see him leaving and he would be a risk anyways.

If we don’t finish third or above he needs to go. We were fifth two years ago and FA Cup winners.

Should be sacked, wouldn’t deserve to stay. It would be a truly pathetic turn of events given the money he’s had.

If he finishes outside the top 4 again then he is a failure and should be sacked.

If we don't qualify for Champions League, he will have to go, and I'm sure he's aware of the stakes. There's no hiding place at Manchester United; managers are judged by results.

    Yes.

If we finish 5th this season he’s gone. We look tired and slow the tactics and line ups are all over the place.

If we carry on playing absolutely dire shite football and finish below 3rd he should be gone.

Right now I feel like the wheels have fallen off and he cannot correct it. His bad mood is spreading.

He will leave at the end of the season, regardless. It's blatant.

I hope finish inside of top 4 and see what's what in the summer. If he finished out of it, then he should absolutely be sacked. We should keep some standards.

Yup. If he didn't finish top 4 or get far in the CL he should be sacked.

The youth players are going backwards, the signings have been average to poor. All he has going for him is the that we are still in the CL and still in the top 4.

Not really, because it would be clear progress isn’t being made with Jose anyway.

There is no way we are going to win the Everton game which is in 2 days with this diabolical attacking. Players just drift around the pitch as they wish. Where is the basic stay at your position concept? Non-existent.

At some point though the players have to take responsibility. The likes of Rashford, Martial, Mkhitaryan etc are just not good enough and that will stay the same regardless of manager.

I've defended him a lot. But if this form continues to dip then, unfortunately, he has to go.

The fear is whether there's someone available to get us out of this rut. And even if someone is on the market, are they capable of succeeding?

If he doesn’t get top 4, he will be sacked IMO.

I’m actually worried now. Cause who would we get? Ancelotti? Blanc? Giggs?... none of those would do better than Mourinho in my book.

Give him time and trust in the manager.

It’s more the style of play and inability to win enough matches, but yes.

No he won't be but I don't think he'd be far off resigning at that point. I really don't think he likes it here or has any sense of belonging at the club.

Guaranteed. The way he is going on there is a good chance he will be gone regardless. Let's hope PSG swoop for him this summer.

Needs to finish top four. Minimum. If that doesn't happen, he's gone.

Out of top 4 then yes he has to go-it is not knee jerk-miss out this year and it could be years before we get back in.

This. I'm all for giving managers time - if they show they deserve it. If they show continual improvement, have the right ideas going forwards, play exciting football at least even if results aren't always amazing (Klopp at liverpool). Mourinho is set in his defensive ways to grind out results, so he's only useful for getting results and winning trophies. If he's not getting the results, then he shouldn't be here. Up til the past month he was getting the results and was in 2nd. Since then we've been dropping points constantly and playing shit football.

I'm not sure. He absolutely should be if that happens but he is a bigger name than LVG and might have some protection.

If we do not qualify for the CL then he will be sacked. Still think we will finish top 4 but they need to fight out of this spell very quickly. This run probably guarantees signings in this window.

No ones saying anything about the youth team. That isn't managed by him. Its the young players under his control in the first team.

Was just about to make a same thread. Yes, 2 years in a row outside of top4 would be unacceptable after investments made.
