That doesn't mean anything, since we know that Welbeck can play almost in every position in attack.

    nobodody gets my sarcasm. :(

Then they had Mccarthy in charge , this time they have a manager who's like a rabbit trapped in the headlights.

It's started already - I trust you made similar predictions before Blackburn?

We had a depleted squad against Blackburn. A lot of injuries.
We really should win this comfortably.
There can always be upsets and surprise results, doesnt mean we arent favorites and would expect a win.

We never have easy matches against Wolves. They have always been around 17th-20th when we played them but still they get results against us at home.

One year ago they got outplayed at home to Liverpool 0-3 and then Bolton 0-1, before beating us 2-1 in their game of the season. They are always up for the United game and always will be.

So we should be worried about cards, while Wolves lose most of the cards are going to their opponents!

Thanks for looking that up, get your bets on at least 3 yellows for us I guess.

So we're playing again against Wolverhampton after we're going out of a european competition.

    What if Rooney is injured?

    Sean's team
    Starting XI

Bench: Amos, Smalling, Evra, Pogba, Cleverley, Giggs, Chicharito
Not in the squad: Owen, Park, Fryers, W.Keane
Out: Vidic, Nani, Berbatov, Fletcher, Anderson, Jones, Lindegaard

    Some words to the team-selection
    - Fabio for Evra no doubt about that after Evra's poor performances in the last weeks!!!!!
    - Valencia is hopefully fit enough to start because i don't want to see Park in the team again.

    Jones Evans Rio Evra
    Valencia Carrick Scholes Young
    Rooney Welbeck

If Rio is injured (heard he was during the game yesterday) then put smalling in there. If jones isn't fit than put Rafael or Fabio in right back. When is Nani supposed to be back as well?
Anyways, I think it will be a pretty comfortably win for us, 3-0, Rooney, Valencia and Welbeck to score the goals.

Didn't understand that either, certainly didn't understand why we left him on when we were taking Rio and Carrick off.

Maybe we should just wrap him in cotton wool until the Derby game?

He wants to play, the more he plays the better he gets, like virtually all footballers.

He can just as easily get injured against Wolves or in training, wasn't it a training ground knock that kept Nani out mid week?

It's Wolves, we should be winning the game with or without Rooney.

Park and Rafael in the middle, Carrick at the back. (De Gea in goal)

Or the Norwich game? We lost the Blackburn game for reasons nothing to do with Rooney, like playing Park and Rafael as a 2 man midfield, and some comical errors.

This is one of those matches that we always win. But scrappily. Come from behind win to exert a world of pressure on City who'll get only a draw.

I, however, think we'll win this easy 3-0 or 3-1. Wolves are atrocious.

Guess Jones won't make it in time, can see Evra being drop onto the bench. It will probably be this team with Valencia coming on in the second half. We should do enough to win surely

    De Gea

    Smalling--Rio--Evans--Fabio

    Carrick--Scholes

    Rooney

    Welbeck--Young

Potentially, we can do our goal difference a world of good in this game. I hope we don't score and then arse around for the rest of the game like we've done at times this season. Let's see how City cope with a 4 point gap to close.
