Missed the last couple of subs. Not sure what way they'll line up, Petrucci and Ajose especially

Fryers and Hussein missing too. Just shows the strength in depth at the moment at this age group.

You missed Lingard. Mutv think that Petrucci is up front with Keane, with Ajose and Morrison on the wings.

I don't think Hussein would get a game. Not sure where there would be space. Forgot about Fryers.

I think that would be the case. Morrison on the right with Ajose on the left.

    Petrucci tucked in behind Keane.

It's hard to tell, but he was one of the best players up until his injury.

Quite possibly. But wasn't he playing centre-mid. In which case, The Pog is there now and I don't think he would get in ahead of him.

I hope Petrucci plays behind the striker but I wouldnt be too surprised if he starts on the right again.

Thought so. But do you think he would be in ahead of The Pog and Tunnicliffe?.

We could have gone with a midfield 3, or moved Tunnicliffe to right back given the injuries.

1-0! Pogba with a far post header from a McGinty free kick, completely unmarked.

Nope, it was really odd though. McGinty (I think) crossed a free kick in from the right hand side about midway through their half.

All our players and theirs were lined up, Pogba had the sense on him to peel away and he was completely unmarked at the back post to glance it in... odd goal.

Their manager must be fuming. Sounds a terrible goal to conceed. Its not like you can miss the Pog!.

Its a good thing. It should help settle us down.

It really was one of the oddest goals I've ever seen. I don't think words can really explain it... they all lined up (Arthur Albiston described it best when he said it was like a Rugby line-out) and then he just peeled off.

We've really come out going for it.

Thorpe looks hurt though, his knee didn't look right there.

Thorpe down injured after making a great tackle. Doesn't look good for him.

    Rio in attendance!

He's back on but doesn't look comfortable, half chance for Birmingham from a cut back.

Anyone else noticed how much higher the tempo for this game is compared to usual under 18 games?

Let's hope so. Bit boring playing in front of 4 people, even if they are distinguished. Did Thorpe come off?
