How's that playing regularly going for Ravel then?

Haven't heard a word about him since he gay bashed someone on Twatter.

What's happening?

Apparently he scored a few goals for their development squad (must be their reserves) against Brentford there a month ago and made a 9 minute cameo appearance for the 1st team against Leeds.

West Ham fans appear to be debating amongst themselves on a few forums too over whether or not a rumour is true that he has missed training sessions.

Had visions of grandeur at United. Thought he was good enough for the first team.

Can't even be trusted in the WHU first team, just yet. Say's it all really.

About right.

It'd be particularly galling for him if WHU fail to go up this season.

jeee, i wish we had a tool that enables us ti check if there is a mammoth thread about a player we have interest in...so we don't have to make new threads every time a poster is interested in a player's fortunes in another club.
That thread is a complete joke, frankly.

I'd rather people started new threads again. Not a fan of having a megathread for every single player.

I wonder how things would be going for him had he joined a club not willing to pay him a ludicrous amount of money. He seems to be the kind of player that needs to be forced to knuckle down, give him incentives and some attainable goals.

Said from the beginning that his head was going to cost him. While everyone praised his attitude I saw it as dangerous. Pity he's an idiot who'll regret his decisions late in life.

Ravel is a bit like Manchester City, as much talent as anyone, but without the discipline to take advantage of it. Football is the ultimate team game, I don't know how you could watch United for any length of time and not realize that attitude is more important than having a bit more raw talent.

Yeah, that structure wasn't available to him at United.

I don't think he's going to ever respond to that sort of treatment. He'll be a maverick sort who will get by, to an extent, on his exceptional gifts.

Ultimately though, talent without without application is squandered.

Sarcasm?

I think being flogged by United would be the first kick up the bum he needed, surely it would have at least hit home that he isn't all that and needs to work hard. Being given a heavy incentive based contract would force home that, at least in my mind.

The biggest surprise of players being released by West Ham at the end of the season looks to be Ravel Morrison who only joined this year

Cant bring myself to be amused. I don't feel sad for him but I do feel sad for the waste of talent.

Amazing. He didn't play that much there did he? I'm sure he won't be short of clubs interested in him though, he's still a huge talent.
