Always gets niggling injuries. Its frustrating we havent signed ny defenders considering we only have 3 centre halves and we play three centre halves in our formation.
It may also be that LVG is giving these three a final chance to impress to see what will be his starting team on saturday.

Just a quick one on the 'Wilson should have been on the bench' theme. I think Van Gaal might intend to play Januzai as a striker off the bench as he is not defensive enough to play wing-back. He played as a striker fairly regularly in the reserves. Presumably he wants to give him a run out and some added fitness. Wilson will get his chance and I reckon he wouldn't mind the pea scoring a few today to put some extra value on his transfer out of here.
A good team, but I have to say, I'm very disappointed for young Wilson, he deserved some game time for his recent performances imo. Not saying he should have started, but should have been on bench for certain, particularly with Welbeck and Robin out.
Welbeck injured, van Persie not match fit. Hernandez will be starting at the weekend.

I was hoping Kagawa would start. I mean Mata is already nailed on as the starting CAM, I wonder if he's even looking over his shoulders at the competition. Kagawa hasn't been given a proper chance in the role alongside other starters in preseason, as his apps have been as a sub with fringe players and as a CM.
