So from what I've read this afternoon it's only a loan move to Napoli and we're trying to agree a fee? I wasn't aware of the loan bit... still, he'll be out... which would sure make him officially the worst signing in United history?

Is he sarcastically being cheered by our fans tonight or is it genuine encouragement? If its sarcastic I think thats disgraceful. I hope thats not the case

Sounds sarcastic. Also sounds like they're being shouted down by the sensible supporters.

Really pathetic from the ones booing.

He was great tonight - even before the goal.

My God am I delighted for him. I don't think he gave the ball away once and pops up with the winner. I am shocked by our fans doing that. Actually I am embarrassed to be associated with them. It was a disgrace to do that to a player wearing the shirt. I am proper disgusted right now with em

Fellaini did very well tonight, even before the goal. Unlike Cleverley. He seemed much more relaxed and focused on the match.

The way he kept the ball was brilliant, almost effortless.

He played quite well. A brief appearance but I'd say he was our best midfielder on the night.

Pathetic from the fans, he's not a dickhead player.. just abit rubbish, no need to boo like that especially when it was a decent performance.

I may just have to eat my words about us moving him on to bring someone else in. He earned some credit out there tonight with the hopeful cameo and the winning goal. Route one football but in this case I can't complain.

I still believe he would be a useful asset to bring on against teams we're dominating. Look at the volley he scores with his head and that little touch with his head to Pienaar for the fourth goal. It's a shame Fellaini can't use his feat and Moyes tactic was simply hoof it...
Bring him on late in the game as Plan B and he will work.

He played well, considering he wouldn't have been completely match fit and Valencia were in control of the game when he came on.
He kept things ticking along nicely

I think he will stay. Why else even give him minutes?
To let people know he is still around. As far as we're aware only Napoli are interested, think we would get rid if someone came in with a half decent offer.

Editing my own posts.
Stop being a bunch of fannies. You all slagged him off to shit last season and now a pre-season crowd had a bit of pantomime fun (culminating in a huge celebration when he scored) and you're claiming to be "embarrassed" and "ashamed" by a match going crowd ...have a Horlix and a biccy and settle down.

The only people truly surprised are those naive enough to think we have "special fans" to begin with. Football crowds have all sorts and will always do stuff like that

The whole situation was hilarious, especially the goal.

Did well in his short cameo but it's not gonna change the fact that he's very average and we should get at least 2 more quality midfielders
