------------------------------

Use this thread for posting transfer related tweets in. Use your head as to what to post. Don't post anything from a clear bullshitter like Agent_"Insert name here", as giving any sort of publicity to them is exactly what they want. Don't post any tweets by any of the following but if you can think of any other names to add to the blacklist, feel free to say.

If you can add any tweets found to the Tweets Only thread too it'd be appreciated. If there are any questions, please address them in the Admin/Mod Help forum

Also worth saying that since Malachians has been unbanned, anything by him should be only about potential transfers and not his rants.

Please allow me to religious ritual this thread.

Sorry it wasn't anything more interesting or directly United related, but there isn't much about at this hour.

No Di Maria tweets posted yet. Disappointed (being facetious there). Glad he's leaving La Liga though and I hope Real Madrid (Perez)live to regret this.

Oh they will, Di Maria was their engine and best player behind Ronnie.

Perez is a crook and all he cares about is selling shirts.
I'd never advocate keeping or signing a player because of his ability to sell shirts, but I'd never sell one because of the perception that he can't sell shirts.

You're a Barca fan right? So for both sake lets hope he regrets indeed.

If Vidal is still a target and yet we still think he has a dodgy knee(s) then it's just crazy. We should look elsewhere before time runs out.

Seems a bit strange that the club would be unwilling to grant LVG his wishes on De Jong. He wouldn't exactly be a sexy signing but he is a very good holding player with very underrated passing skills, and he wouldn't cost much. If we can't get anyone else, he'd be a good signing and would start every game.

I think we do have backup targets. But I also think its too late to go in for Vidal anyway and Juve are now not going to sell.

Sounds to me like he very much wants Vidal and club agree. De Jong is nothing more than back up to the primary target. Vidal will have marketing value as well

I still don't understand, we have reservations about Vidal's knee but we're keen on going big on Strootman in January.

Yeah, but Herbert claims LVG wants De Jong in case the Vidal signing can't be pulled off, yet the club does not want to buy De Jong.

Its pretty simple. Strootman would have played a few games by January and will be scouted in that time. Also he has been looked after by Dutch FA doctors, who would probably still be in touch with LvG.

In fairness he is only just recovered from a knee injury and hasn't yet played a match for Juventus, I'd say we're just ensuring he has recovered rather than suspecting his knee is gone. Anyway I would assume we have a backup identified just in case. De Jong to do a job until Vidal recovers or Strootman becomes available wouldn't be the end of the world.

I still think the Strootman in January stuff is impossible under the circumstances, it would take more crazy money to make it happen.

With Blind and his agent with no sort of contact from LvG and reports that De Jong isn't happening, who will we sign? We need a central midfielder.

I still don't quite understand why people think Strootman in January is such a certain thing. It's almost like they expect him to come to United.
Whats to say he's even interested in a move to the Premier League? Whats to say Roma actually want to sell him? They'd be mid way through their season, may or may not still be in the Champions League, may or may not be involved in a title chase... theres no guarantee what so ever that Strootman would want to come to United. I think we probably know that, so i'd imagine in the next few days we go all out looking for a good CM. I still think whoever we get, we'll make a bid for Strootman sometime in the future, but i don't think January is nailed on as people are trying to make out.
