Both players are leaning.
Yeah, I just think they're level, but half a second after this picture is taken, Skrtel is still turning whilst Ramsey is a couple of yards more to the right, that's probably why the linesman thought it was offside. The benefit of the doubt should be given to the striker but that's almost never the case - see Rooney two days ago, Lukaku yesterday and Ramsey today. It's easy for us to tell but one hell of a job for a linesman, even at that level.

That said, we've already been fortunate with a couple of decisions this season, yes.

His body leaning toward goal meant he looked offside in a straight line. Really good call from the the linesman. He was offside. Usain Bolt won the 100m with less lean against Gatlin.
I'm just stunned that you got both offside calls in your favour, what with the conspiracy against Liverpool that has been holding them back for so long.

Three big ones actually (two against Bournemouth and one against Arsenal judging by posts here), but luck is part of football. Agree with your take on how it's judged, it's so hard for a linesman at real speed.

Entering into pedantic territory now but the camera shot is at the wrong angle here. Its in line with Giroud and not Skrtel/Ramsay. If that was the camera shot used for Bolt v Gatlin, with the camera closer to Gatlin then Gatlin would have won.

The linesman would (correctly) have been standing on the 18 yard line unlike the camera shot and would have seen Ramsay's lean take him further. Anyway, its neither here nor there now as it wasn't given. Cech won MOTM by a country mile followed by Coutinho for second if everyone is agreed. That tells you about how the result could have gone.

We've had our luck this season no doubt about it. But Emirates/Highbury have been graveyards for luck for us in the past. Absolutely horrendous decisions over the years on that ground. IF the Ramsay goal should have stood (and it was as close as it gets not exactly one yard on) then we're still in the red as far as luck is owed us against Arsenal.

I'm sure we're going to get some rotten luck/decisions against us at some point later on when it all balances out.

Coquelin was my man of the match. Cech was basically on bypass for the second half although he made two absolutely world class saves in the first.

Walcott was my man of the match. 3 touches, gave the ball away twice, one pass backwards. Best least impact sub ever.

Coq had a very good and disciplined match, though offered nothing offensive (much like Lucas who had a good game but offered nothing offensive). However, Cech was Barclays MOTM and most fans would agree what he did in the first half was more than enough to deserve it. Reading through this forum the general consensus is Coutinho was right up there as well.
