United are off the mark in Group B of the Champions League.

A very, very hard fought victory and a crucial one. Wolfsburg played very well, the best team to come to Old Trafford this season.

Smalling's second-half goal decided it, but United were on the ropes for the last 25 minutes and can consider themselves lucky to get the three points.

CSKA Moscow's 3:2 win over PSV means all three teams are on three points. Everything to play for.

Get the feck in, huge win. Much needed. Should make us more composed and confident for the other games to get the first win.

He got paid major amounts to live his dream at the expense of his knees, anyone would have done the same. Same applies for winning every major award at club level, there was extreme self-motivation for that, he's won more than many in the game. Giving his all is the bare minimum expected from a professional footballer paid millions a year. He was no where near as instrumental as Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez and co.

We got one full season out of him and we paid him handsomely to sit on the injury table for the remainder of his contract. At the end of that contract, instead of showing loyalty to United and going to a team where he would have played more games (which is apparently what he wanted) he decided to sign for City.

    He's a dick.
No, not everyone would do the same. Plenty of players would have sat out knowing they were injured. In fact most would. Basically you're as petty and bitter as Hargreaves is, only difference is, you have no reason to be.

Hargreaves actually went through that hell and it's natural to lash out and look to blame. As an adult, I can understand his anger. I don't agree with it, but I can understand where it comes from. I can hope that with time he will soften and move on. You? Your mentality is small time, petty, bitter, tribal and totally unwarranted.

there was by far too much respect on wolfsburgs side in the first half, totally unnecessary.

    however, congrats united!

    Thank god for that.
We were falling apart, but we held on.
In the away fixture, I can't see us getting any points from Wolfsburg. And that Dante guy.

    Good display after their goal.

But strange display turning into a Mourinho team after our 2nd goal.
