How is he getting along at PSG? You can't teach an old dog new tricks apparently.

Didn't he screw up a one vs one like that for us too? against Arsenal I think. Martial would have tucked that away in his sleep. :)

he's never been a good finisher, which is why it was so daft to play him up top last season.

Statistically he seems to be doing pretty well. 3 goals and 4 assists already.

Though he did have similar stats in his first few games for us too :D

was thinking exactly that. remember it costing me a sh!Tload of fantasy footy points.

but more importantly it would have completely put the game to bed, rather than see us endure a very awkward last few mins after Giroud got one back

Slightly bitter OP in my opinion. Reminds me of someone that broke up with their girlfriend but still stalks her IG account to see if she is doing better off without you .

I must be the guy who checks it everyday while listening to Coldplay then because I'm still gutted he has gone.

Might be with Real Madrid game in midweek in mind and that he arrived late from International break?

Although I would love if it is because he pulled Zlatan's hair in training, Zlatan gave him a death stare in turn and he left the field crying only to be tackled by Blanc on way out to fall flat on face and then all Brazilians at PSG pointing at him and laughing themselves silly.

I'm sure some Utd fans will be happy to know that ADM is getting more and more criticized because his performances have been disappointing lately. Same issues as when he was at Utd, he isn't a winger.

Sounds like the same thing that happened at United. Impressive start, then nothing.

Well even the start was not as impresive as with us. In hindsight we did great business selling him because if he would have another bad season with us we wouldn't get anything near the amount we had got from PSG.

Glad to hear he's carried on where he left off with us:rolleyes: Wonder if the PSG fans still think it was all our doing why he was giving shite performances?

Greater fool theory. He's an incredibly brainless footballer. Misplacing 5 yard passes, trying to dribble 3 players in your own half, hitting crosses into row Z and attempting hopeless shots from 40 yards have nothing to do with position on the pitch.

I'm one of the few that wont be, I feel he is a good player, but Di Maria has always been inconsistent. Be it at Benfica, Real or even with United, its nothing new really..I thought selling him was a good idea as I think we wouldn't have gotten anywhere close to 45 mil. had we kept him.

His time here was quite short, and I never really loved him here enough to hate him when he left.

He's the kind of player who can only play second fiddle in the team. At Real Madrid he played with a slew of superstars and had little pressure to carry the attacking burden.

In short, its really his mentality.. After his big money transfer, he is struggling to deliver top quality performances with the spotlight shining on him.

I said this a while ago and agree. He's simply not a number one type of guy.

I don't think it's the responsibility or the pressure of carrying a team's attacking threat and impetus that limit him in being the 'number one', it's more his insanely hot and cold performances. I don't think that's a mental thing either -- he just seems to be a very, very sporadic player.

Think we should take a look at this guy! Not doing great for PSG but he was dynamite for Madrid and we could really use some pace. Could probably get him on the cheap too.

Yeah he does look a real talent. I can imagine him adding the much needed explosiveness to our team. Strangely enough he reminds me of a player who used to play for us.

I never thought I'd be so pleased about getting rid of a record signing after one year.
