Let's ask the source then.
I wouldn't call me a source, but I'll give you my opinion ;). We've been desperate for him to extend. There hasn't been a single bad word said by anyone at the club about Guardiola. Beckenbauer's criticism as a tv pundit (he's not working for the club) was blown out of proportion, but like Revan said, no one takes the old fool seriously anymore.

I guess it has become clear that he didn't want to extend over the last few months and it's great that we've secured Ancelotti so early.

Dunno if this should be here, but it affects us indirectly - Bild basically confirming Ancelotti to Bayern, so that should rule him out.

If that's true we'll put Giggs in until the end of the year. Charlton won't sanction Jose. Of course Joel Glazer might tell Charlton where to go...

Any organization that is staring down the barrel will have meetings to decide what's going on and what needs to happen. It's common sense.

The Pep vs Jose drama is reborn....in the same town. Could it get any worse than the shambles that endlessly surrounded El Clasico, hope they've grown up.....okay, we all love a bit of drama really!

It will be best achievement for both of them should they reach their goals. Winning the CL within 3 years or sooner. Bayern-Real-Barca-PSG are just currently too far ahead.

After recommending hard working honest man Moyes I don't think Ferguson and Charlton will have much say in who our next manager is going to be. If it's Giggs then we should accept long term mid table mediocrity.

I would love to get Mourinho. He has had a difficult year and need to get back on top. A guy with his record will be back as soon as he get the United job imo.

Checked it and it said that you can use both :nervous:
British English has the U in words like rumours, colours, etc. Doesn't particularly bother me though. The internet is full of American English.

The U is because of the french origin, who has a latin origin.

Je m'en fous!
Pep is going to City. Well most likely.
More like Pep has already decided his next move.
Well, this is football. Things and circumstances can change any minute.

Also, I guess it's just me, but I have always considered Pep to more of a romantic. Or at least his club choices make it seem that way. First Barcelona, then Bayern. Both these clubs have one thing in common, a structure. City doesn't have that. Pep also prefers playing a lot of youth players. City doesn't even have any youth player!

City doesn't have a structure? Care to explain that?

The club got a lot of stick last time for the news breaking before Moyes had even been sacked so I think we'll be trying to keep it quiet this time.

I think it's inevitable that he'll be gone by Monday afternoon.
It is no fun that way...

Can't believe Pep would choose City. Ah well, our board are full of it if they didn't go all out to get him. Disappointing.

Charlton had his time deciding things and he ended up with Moyes. They won't listen to him again.

Don't know why his accomplishments as a player 50 years ago mean anything about selecting managers today.
