Arsenal Football Club - nicknamed The Gunners - are a professional football club based in Holloway, London, England; and were founded in 1886 as Dial Square, by the workers of the Royal Arsenal armaments facility, before being subsequently renamed as Royal Arsenal. Arsenal are one of the most successful and popular clubs in the history of the English league, with a trophy haul than includes 13 League titles, 12 FA Cups, and 2 League Cups, among others. Since the arrival of current manager Arsene Wenger, Arsenal have built a reputation for playing an attractive, streamlined style of football that rivals some of the best teams in Europe while boasting the likes of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira, Cesc Fabregas and Robin Van Persie. The club plays its home games at the Emirates Stadium, and has a bitter sporting rivalry with neighbors Tottenham Hotspur in a match termed the North London Derby; apart from a competitive rivalry against the other major clubs of the Premier League, especially Manchester United - in an affair that peaked in the late 1990s-early 2000s period.

Don't care about rest of the league season but need a draw atleast here to dent Arsenal and their chances.

I see the 5-0 Arsenal predictions are in

Can't see us winning this really. I'm more excited to see how the kids will do.

If we have Smalling, Martial and CBJ back we stand a chance, but I really don't fancy the back 4 if we don't.

    Amidst squeaky bums.
    Best case scenario:

    de Gea

    Varela
    Smalling
    Blind
    Marcos Rojo

    Carrick
    Schneiderlin

    Mata
    Herrera
    Memphis

    Martial

But I wouldn't have any qualms about Borthwick-Jackson or Rashford starting.

Amongst the hype of tonight, I'm not looking forward to this game one bit. Bad feeling about it.

    Give peas a chance.
Wish this fixture had the billing and intensity of previous seasons. Putting one over on that lot was all the more sweeter.

    Still will be I suppose.

I predicted 1-1 but that was me being optimistic, I guess it depends who we have back fit. We were pretty depleted when we scraped that win at the Emirates last season...who knows.

Not confident. Our defence is in tatters, and it's just like us to lose when we seem to building any semblance of momentum.

Martial might play, LvG says it's more of a precaution to leave him out.

If we can play with the tempo we showed tonight, we stand a fraction of a chance. We have to play arsenal on the transition.

As it stands though, not looking good.

We play the same team that we did tonight then they'll rip us to shreds, but hopefully DDG, Rojo, Smalling, CBJ, and Martial will have some sort of chance of playing,

The Arsenal defence will have gone from playing against Messi, Neymar and Suarez to Martial, Memphis and Lingard. They won't break a sweat.*

Not expecting us to win, but as long we we put in a respectable performance I'll be happy.

what do people recon will be our midfield. That will pretty much decide it.
We risk getting overrun. 3 man midfield is necessary IMO so I would probably drop Lingard, Mata out wide, start Rojo at CB, and push Carrick forward into DM. Front 3 of Memphis, Rashford, Mata though obviously plug Martial in if fit

If we can't make top 4 lets at least put a dent in Arsenal's title hopes, City's too when the time comes.

I think we could be ok. These two games were make or break as opposed to building momentum. Beat Arsenal then everyone will be changing their tune and saying we have the momentum so we will mess up the game after Arsenal.
