Would totally be fine with Jose, or any other manager, if he'd bring Rafa or Hernandez.. or both.. back.

I don't care if he is injured a lot. Just bring him back. We need to make room in the squad for loveable players like him.

Amazing to think of these two contrasting finals with the same teams - 1990 and 2016.

One run & cup final victory arguably saved Fergusons job in a time when the FA Cup was of huge importance with English clubs not even allowed to compete in Europe.

The other coming at a time when it seems that LVG is going to be sacked regardless of whether he wins today - mainly due to the FA Cup being of lesser importance today whilst finishing fifth and out of the CL being wot done it for him.

Don't understand the people that think we're gonna smash 'em 3-0 or something. It's not gonna be that easy.

A big reason why we swatted them away so easily at OT this season was that they had lots of injuries and obviously only cared about the FA Cup Semi that weekend. Think back to that 0-0 away to Palace, we were awful and I remember Cabaye almost winning it for them.

Think it'll be 2-1 to United after 80 mins. We'll sit back and make it difficult for ourselves as usual in the last 10 minutes. Just don't concede so many set pieces this time!

I'm ( probably stupidly ) confident that today will be a walk in the park....

Depends on the starting eleven, but hoping that Fellaini will give us another great performance like he did against Everton - break up the play, simple forward pass, rinse, repeat, etc....

The league game is completely irrelevant, they had nothing to play for in the league but the FA cup is a different matter altogether, they still talk about the last time they got to the final, to win it would be massive for them. This will not be the same game.
I hear what you are saying and its a logical argument.

But you will not dampen my spirits - I truly believe that MUFC will win this game without problems.
That and the imminent announcement that Mourinho is finally joining us: today is going to be GREAT!

There has been far too much doom and gloom over the last few months.
Fans need to prepare themselves for the trophies that we are going to be winning (starting today) and start being positive.

I don't mean to dampen! We could play worse and struggle or we could just as likely have our best match of the season and batter them. I'm really hoping for the latter. I am pretty confident too, Martial always seems to spark in the big games and is in terrific form, I would not like to be the right back against him today.

I've largely avoided the hype throughout the week, but i'm buzzing now.

Can only be good for us if he truly is injured. He'd have had the game of his life against us.

    Gutted for the lad though.

BBC say it's Jason Puncheon that won't play but Zaha is the one crying?

Good for us, terrible for the lad.

He's one of their more dangerous players so less of a headache for our defenders.

Miguel Delaney (ESPN) says Zaha is out.

Yeah Zaha is out surely - I mean why would he have a mobile phone with him? I think he should still be a United player and has been unfortunate. Hopefully there are many better days for him in the future.

Moyes just seemed to ignore the lad completely which then made it easy for him to be sold later. It was a shame.

Gutted for Wilf if he's missing out. He was always up against it, as he's not played for a few weeks due to a hamstring injury. Failed a late fitness test, perhaps?

It's a boost for us, but a shame for anyone to miss a cup final. Still no confirmation though. All the talk seems to be about Puncehon. Massive blow for them if both are missing.

I would have been in tears too. Happy we won't have to face him, but do feel it for him at the same time
