Maybe he wants Sideshow Ryan to bugger off.

Aye! My dad is quite a fan. Knows a lot about him and was a pretty decent player to boot.

Just hate the club he owns (Jomo Cosmos), who he manages as well. Got them relegated and then promoted back up from our Premier league a few times already  Obviously rates his managerial ability much higher than it is because he won't fire himself

Still seems incredibly weird, considering how often he's been against us, and the pedigree of his name in general. Especially since the ship seemed to have sailed after 2013. Like...it's just kind of incredibly difficult to picture him being in the Old Trafford dugout, potentially lifting a PL trophy here etc. The thought of Fergie coming onto the pitch to celebrate with him after a trophy win though, for example, sounds fantastic. Exciting times certainly.

Exactly how I'm feeling about it.

Having Mourinho as the manager of Manchester United is just surreal to me.

Exciting times ahead!

Yeah i thought he would be a great successor to Ferguson but always had a gut feeling they would pick someone else, ugh how right i was.

But great that its finally happening as i've always had a real soft spot for Mourinho, no Jomo of course.

Yeah, I remember completely fecking hating the guy back around his first spell at Chelsea, due to Chelsea's dominance for a while and his general arrogance. Was incredibly satisfying to see United come out on top in 2007, and Mourinho being sacked was almost a relief due to how good a manager he was. Kind of came to like him a bit more at Inter (and then less when he was being a massive prick at Real and Chelsea again), but he's undoubtedly an incredible person when on form, and if he can find that early Chelsea managerial ability then (you'd hope), we're going to be much closer to what we were in the Fergie era.
