If your not happy about this transfer you have a dark soul and should be placed in solitary confinement. Beggars belief, if reports are to be believed than we are signing him as a mentor and old hand to help Rashford develop into a monster striker....and you know....the 50 goals last season, weather its France or not is absolutely ridiculous.

If he allows us to put away the shit sides that we didn't last season it will be worth it. One extra win would have put us in the CL.

I'll reserve judgment until I see how his season pans out.

But if this stunts Rashford's development, I'm going to be miffed

I'm skeptical but every transfer brings excitement.

Hope I'm wrong but I just don't think he's what we need. The days of a big striker who can hold up the ball are gone. So much play goes through the fullbacks that they just slip out of the game. They barely see the ball. A No.9 today has to work to be involved. Movement is key. There'll be moments of brilliance but I don't think he's able/willing to give us the movement that disorientates a defence.

Also let's not set the bar too low on the goal front. Fingers crossed we're a good United team next year. A player with his rep should be scoring 30+(all comps) if that's the case. RvN did it consistently in ok/average United teams. This talk of 20 goals being a success is wide of the mark.
He's exactly what need, he does everything to a high standard and is quicker over 10 yard than people think and scores all types of goals plus he will only be here for a couple of years which is ideal with Martial and Rashford coming through

It's a cult now. We are slowly but surely turning into RAWK minus the North Korean style modding

Hardly, it's all just a bit of fun. Apart from a few idiots it's all pretty tongue-in-cheek... whereas, for example, they genuinely thought that Italian midfielder was the second coming

No worries Pex. Im looking forward to Zlatan the Bratan waltzing in.
I think he's great. He plays a character and he's smart enough to do it so well that it really gets under the skin of those that don't get it.

It's because he's been so damn good and done such ridiculous things throughout his career that when he calls himself God, with a massive grin and knowing look in his eye, people think he's a narcissistic twat like Ronaldo when in reality he just enjoys playing up to that character.

I'm not sure. The fanboys are fecking everywhere. Wouldn't surprise me of the some of the posters wank off to Zlatan posters here.
