The old United mantra of never give up never give in rings true today. It was a steady performance against a resiliant and well organised Hull team, whom it's no surprise as to how they started the season so well.

We struggled to break them down all game but we pinned them back when Rashford and Henrik came on. No one really had a poor game apart from Martial, who wasn't terrible tbf, but I think our game lacked intensity today. But we kept plugging away and got what I feel we deserved despite Hull's dogged display.

fecking hell what an end. Still buzzing about that. Reminded me of a late Fergie-Era team with that desire to win despite seemingly trying everything to score. This was the first time in ages that I felt like we actually would score.

Obviously would have liked a few more goals, but decent result all the same. Rashford my MOTM. Made a huge difference coming on. Mkhitaryan made a huge difference too.

Solid 6 team performance today. Not that bad but could definitely and should definitely be better.
I get the feeling that some people would complain even if we beat Barcelona in the CL Final.

3 wins out of 3 EPL games is a fantastic performance from our team.
Support your team when they do well.

Screaming 'get the feck in!' amongst a load of Hull fans in Portugal isn't my proudest moment, but feck me it felt good!

DDG - Nothing much to do, not his fault, earnt his salary

Valencia - Meh, a good bombing run and helped keeping the possession but crossing is shit again. Solid RB performance overall if not for his crosses
Baily - Beast
Blind - Daley Danny Blind, nuff said
Shaw - Decent, not much going forward until the last 20 minutes

Fellaini - did a solid job at the midfield apart from the stupid yellow, earnt his place for now
Mata - wank, offered nothing going forward but a few sideways pass
Rooney - Utter shit for the first 60 minutes, slowly coming back to life in the last 30 capped with a brilliant flick and cross for the goal. Nice assist, credits where its due
Pogba - not much chance to showcase his ability with the hull parking the plane, a few long range shots that if gone in would have been goal of the season contender
Martial - shit, I fear for him, it's only 3 games but he's a shadow of last year Martial. Should have started to change his shirt number as 11-2

Zlatan - Wonders around too much, he should have stayed up front, class flick as usual, not his best days

SUBS:

Targaryan - Lively, very lively, but his long range shot is too weak, trying too hard to impress. Interesting if he's given a full 90 minutes from the start
Rashford - I casted doubts on him being ready, but at this rate he is ready to stake that RW or LW position as his own! Watch your back martial!

Smalling doesn't display the intelligence that Blind has but his athleticism will be needed against pacy teams
I'd pick Blind/Baily ahead of Smalling.
Smalling is not as good as some people are making out.

Manchester United is back!!

My throat is sore from screaming when we finally scored... God damn that felt good.

Think it could have been easier for us with Mkhi and Rash in place of Rooney and Mata/Martial in the starting line-up though.

Bring on City!

Yes and things instantly improved once we brought Rash/Miki on. Jose got the starting team wrong today.
No, he didn't.
He got Plan A and Plan B.
Both speedy boys came on as subs with fresh legs. Against tired legs, they do have huge advantage since they are fast and fresh. :)

Fergie time!!!

I think we deserved this. We had about, what, 29 shots. Tried and tried and succeeded. Introduction of Mickhey and Rashford definitely changed the game and upped the tempo. They deserve a start vs City.

That boy Marcus, what a player, as soon as he came in, we were more dangerous.

Special mention for Rooney. I think overall he had a decent game and in the end had a great assist. I'm sure the haters will find something wrong even with an assist, something like he didn't mean to put it for Marcus, but credit where credit's due.

We're definitely going in the right direction. Last year we'd have draw this kind of game or would lose. We look like a lot more direct and our play looks like it has purpose.

It was an United of old, attack attack and attack some more until you brake your opponent.

Credit for Hull and Phelan, they made it really hard for us, defended great and looked dangerous upfront in bits. I hope Hull will continue to look this good which will mean Phelan will stay.
indeed. The fear...defending like that At home.....

Be Afraid...all the other teams.

We are going to destroy you!

Loved the celebration! Be interesting to see who lines up against City. Mhki, Rash and Lingard to start. That would be some game! Maximum points and just 2 clean sheets. Happy days. :D

Moyes and Van Gaal take note, that's how you fecking chase a game. Sustain the pressure and batter the door down. Those last 30 minutes, once Mkhitaryan came on basically, were brilliant.
It helps that Mkhitaryan is there for selection with Rashford. All while an Ibrahimovic, Pogba, Rooney are already on the pitch. Then you have the trio of Bailly, Blind and Felliani defending extremely well.

Eric Bailly is great, isn't he. Still early days but he so far looks like a vidic with the ball control of a Rio

Throwing on forwards and attacking till the end. Getting a last minute winner.

Really Fergie-like stuff so far.

Take back my opinion that Rashford was equal to City's young kid, Rashford is sublime.

That last 20 minutes was like the United of old. Kept kicking the door until it fell off the hinges. Mkhitaryan and Rashford changed the game. Can't beat a last minute winner. Bloody 2 week wait until the derby now FFS

We simply have to start with speed on the flanks. Jose either puts Mata in the 10 or doesn't play him at all. Against City i'd play Martial-Rooney-Myhitarian.
