Thought you couldn’t spend that big money, ’cause of the stadium etc.?
Its 6 million a year for 5 years isnt it? @GlastonSpur

I do think Spurs have panicked a little this summer, chasing Zaha and getting Sissoko who isnt worth a 1/5 of his price tag. Wanyama was a solid get and Janssen looks decent too though.

I really hope Henriksen is a done deal. Another Norwegian in the PL would be great for norwegian football.

Denmark-Sweden-Norway all have very shitty national teams at this point in time to be honest so not a surprise to see so few making in the big leagues. Id consider it the stone age for the scandinavian countries in terms of football talent apart from Zlatan. Christian Eriksen is good but wont ever be anything more than that and the rest of the talent pool is bad, really bad.

Just look at the national teams of Norway and Sweden to see how far things have fallen. The team around Ibra at the Euros was a joke, and Norway didn't even qualify for the tournament.

In the 90s we had top class players in many positions. Thorstvedt, Bratseth, Berg, Johnsen, Bjørnebye, T.A. Flo, Solskjær, Leonhardsen, Mykland, Bohinen and Rekdal were all far, far better than what we have today, even if the football was as route one as it comes. Sweden in '94 had some tremendous talent too.

I agree that scandinavian football are in shambles right now, without much excitement on the horizon. Such a shame that Emre Mor chose to represent Turkey, and the same thing goes for Bersant Celina (Kosovo?). Let's just hope that Ødegaard lives up to at least some of the hype.
