Exactly. The pen played into their hands really, it allowed them to sit off without anybody questioning it.
Maybe that's why he's so angry. They basically played anti football today and he doesn't want to be associated with that?

The bitterness is great, he'll be foaming about that goal, good.
The match was going only one way until the hand of pog changed everything, they were gifted a lead and couldn't seal the advantage.

Did they even test DDG? Not counting the penalty.

At least we tested their keeper 2-3 times before scoring.

He claimed LFC ''dominated the game'' in the radio interview.

The fecking loon.
In fairness, they controlled the game for most of it. They set up to destroy our passing play and then crowd out Martial when he was on the ball.
We still created 2 clear chances in the first half and should have scored and then Pogba gave the game away with his stupid hand ball.

In the second we pushed men forward and they created more in the space and got a couple of chances, while we struggled to beat their press. We gave up on that and went more direct and got the goal.

Our team had better individuals, while theirs had a game plan what worked for large periods of the game. They might have played differently with Mane and Coutinho available from the start but the team they started lacked attacking quality and were lucky to get a goal in the first half.

Edit- if he meant 'controlled' and misspoke, I understand his point- but as you say, they in no way 'dominated' because that would have suggested a degree of attacking authority that they clearly failed to show.

Surprised he's not getting more stick for behaving like a complete twat when mourinho attempted to make peace. He's got pool fans in the palm of his hands

Their style of play is irritating. But they're bloody good at it.

Everything seems so flukey, workmanlike and lucky. But then they did it 50 times a game and you're like how is it possible.

They were not dominant whatsoever though. They were great at disrupting us, can't deny that. Dominant? They tested DDG twice maybe?

Yeah, go on. I can see what you are saying there. Maybe I am taking his ''dominated'' a bit too literally. Explained as 'control' is much better.

edit - :D, hadn't actually seen your edit when I posted that.

What has Klopp been smoking?

Percentage of passes long

Man Utd 20%,
Liverpool 19%.

We also had significantly more of our passes in the opposition third compared to Liverpool.

Worst part is that it isn't only them falling for it. You can see the German fans (unsurprisingly), Arse fans (mostly tits anyway) and Spurs fans all lapping it up.

Only sane ones are the Chelsea fans.

They were more controlled and stuck to their game plan, we were rushing everything all game, wouldn't say they were the better team though, we created enough good (Pogba/Mhiki) chances to have been able to see the game out if we had taken a couple. The occasion seemed to get to us which is a shame cause if we'd kept our heads that defence was their for the taking.

He's so cringey  Remember the Beatles tshirt etc. But tbf, the scousers are pretty easy to get onside with gimmicks like that.

Your squad is poor. Your first XI, when all available and fully fit is pretty decent, but there are big drops in quality in many positions as soon as your first choice is out. Not sure what you've taken issue with there in all honesty.
A 'squad' includes the first XI is my point. Now if you had said 'squad depth' I'd agree with you, it doesn't run deep in a few positions.

Most of them are terrible and are only here to tell us how amazing everything about German football is, whilst the PL is overrated etc. There are dozens of them and maybe 2 or 3 (including me) are actually United fans.

But then you're just arguing over semantics. Given that you actually agree with the point, I'm not sure why you took any issue with it.

He is obviously talking shit and playing mind games/wumming. He is good in the big games, his players just outrun the opposition all the time and they have some good players to counter attack and score goals. Liverpool are a good team, but they werent better today or more creative/playing better football.

Before the game I was confident but the way the match panned out it, ultimately 2 points dropped from them today.

Would have been a huge boost but they bottled it, and from Klopps expressions you can tell he knows it.

To be fair the fact he has got so salty over the draw suggests he wanted the win and despite them missing quite a few players and to outplay us for the most part especially tactically it shows he's a winner and he's trying to show his players we need to go for the win in these games and that draws should be seen as disappointments. Nothing wrong with that if that is what he is trying to pass on to his players.

I do think Jose can get to him eventually though.

Yes Mr Klopp, Jose should have kept it as it was and lost the match rather than figure out a way to get back into the game.

Jose is such a cnut for not letting you get the 0-1 smash and grab you came for.

We had five decent chances by my reckoning (I'm including the Rooney shot that was wrongly flagged offside). Their keeper saved three very well.

DDG didn't have a single hard save to make. Two of the scousers shots on target were pea rollers.

The daft penalty changed the pattern of the match. United were on their way towards pressing for the opening goal up to that point.

Liverpool then went super defensive but were unable to see it out.

Draw a fair result, but united probably still should have won it.

Liverpool laid just a single punch on us today. The rest of the match they were hands up, back to the ropes.

The only area they dominated was their own penalty area.

They're title challenges unfortunately and are definitely going to be in the hunt. They were missing a few today and in spite of that, you'd have to say that a draw was probably a fair result. Like him or loathe him he's doing a great job.

I know who got the better result and is having the better season, hence why they're joint 2nd, 5 points better off than ourselves.
