Obvious Photoshop is obvious.

"Apparently" according to who?
adidas asked the fans last year to design a kit for a competition and the winner may be selected for a United kit. That is obviously one of the crappy computer designs that was entered. Whether it won, and whether it will be made into an actual kit is anyone's guess I suppose.

The concept isn't the worst in the world but it needs a lot of work.

The home kit in the early 90's had the stadium in the background and that worked, but you could only see it close up. A similar thing could maybe work here.
My mate got that shirt with Kanchelskis on the back in '95. He got sold less than a week after. His mum was fecking livid.

That kit was one of my favourites ever. Mainly because of Cantona tbh though and how he wore it.

The End?
That third better not be the final design. While the sentiment behind that is nice and all, it's truly an eyesore. The kit being completely grey also makes the Chrvrolet logo stand out more than ever before. Why can't we just have a nice, classy black kit with gold highlights to make the Chevy logo blend in a bit? The photoshopped kit on the previous page is absolutely beautiful. Something like that would be phenomenal.

That's horrendous. Hope to god that isn't the one we go for. Personally I don't like 'tribute' type shirts tbh.

I saw it here in among leaks of some of the other prominent Adidas clubs:

http://www.punditarena.com/football/sokeefe/man-united-third-kit-leak-2018/

Just did a google search to see if there was anywhere else reporting it and saw this:

http://www.footyheadlines.com/2016/12/manchester-united-17-18-third-kit.html

Same idea but looks a lot more palatable. The design is set back into the fabric, like a couple of our jerseys from the mid 90's or the famous Dutch one from Euro 96.

I don't like the white shirts, i prefer black and blue for the second/third kit's main color, but any design that takes us as further as possible from the "worker bee" concept of this season is more than welcome for me. It's the one thing that irritates me more than the Chevrolet logo and it's simply atrocious on this season's white shirt.

The white shirt is the second kit surely, and the third kit will be black?

Since Moyes days we've had:
2nd kit: White, white,white,white
3rd kit: Primarily black,blue,Black,blue

Which means next year it will be white for the 2nd kit and black for the 3rd.

Unless I am wrong.

Apparently not. The link above leaks the white one along with the potential 3rd kits for Bayern, Real and Juve. The away kit is supposed to be the black one on the previous page.

This year our blue jersey is the away and the white is the third. With Adidas, we've had one white away and one blue away. If you want to extrapolate a pattern, our next away will be black.

My bad. I would prefer that anyway.

I wish the badge would stay the same proper club colours for all kits, taking out the colour to match the kits just looks cheap. It's not like a white kit is going to clash with someone else's kit because there's a bit of red in the badge.

Agree 100%.

Usually we've seen what turns out to be a leaked version of at least the home kit by now but not a lot so far this year. Bit of a shame really.

Looking for the answers...
I always get excited when I see this thread get bumped in the hope of getting a glimpse of next season's kit.

I long for a proper collar on the kit again

I really hope it's not grey. We only have one example of ever wearing grey in our history and it was a disaster. Then they put it on the current third kit, which is one of the ugliest I think we've ever worn. As a colour choice for a football team in general it makes no sense, even more so for United, and especally so as it differs so little from this season's third kit.

I don't mind the monochrome badge at all though, it's actually very rare for the club itself to use the full colour crest in artwork at the moment, you only really see it on our home shirts and general souvenir tat.

The 07/09 kits were brilliant. Red, Black and Blue. Three simple, plain and gorgeous kits. I had Ronaldo in red PL Style, Rooney's in blue CL and Park in Black.

We also had the white with blue trim which was also really nice. Agree though, the best set of kits we've had in years.

Sadly we only had the black 07 kit for one season and the next year we had a dire white kit with blue shorts in 08/09 to replace it, looked like a naff Bolton knock off.

on another note apparently our new home kit will have a lot more black than usual with Adidas but will still have white stripes, those who claim to have seen it said it's a little reminiscent of the chevron kit we had in 2009-10.

Not much of a fan of the white one, maybe because is what we used when trounced by Barça in the CL final. But overall great kits.

When we used the black one and entered the field with likes of VDS, Rio, Vidic, Evra, Scholes, Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez the other team were truly impressed. Still miss the three amigos chemistry.

adidas have done us no favors up to this point. Of course, we could be returning the lack of effort in the form of missing Champions League 2x.

I wish Adidas would give us three kits with exactly the same design in three different colours like the mid to late 80s. They were the business.

I wish they'd have done that last season with the home design in red, white and black (with red trim, not bloody orange).

The black one looks superb. I look a bit of a pillock wearing a football shirt, but I wouldn't mind looking a pillock in that!
