So do you need to have played the previous ones to get this one? Is it turn based?

The only game I would play on a Bone is Forza Horizon. The rest are shite and multiplatform games are better played on PC/PS4.

I'm sure Xbox owners are loving life this year
Not into the whole my console is better than yours malarkey. But it's quite the gap at the moment that's for sure. I had to get rid of my Xbox a couple of months ago

Anyway I played p4 golden on vita and was one of my favourite games in recent years. Put well over 100 hours into it

Not sure if I will transition to the new one onto console. It was perfect as a handheld

Considering buying a PS4 just to play this. Bad idea? Might be a poor return on investment even if this game is as great as Persona 4. Are there any other must-play PS4 games (which aren't out for PC)?

At the moment I wouldn't say there are (m)any 'must haves', but there is a few good-to-very good games that are exclusives. Yakuza O, Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, and NieR Automata are all out at the minute in that vein. Upcoming I believe there is a Crash Bandicoot game on its way too. There's probably one or two more but if you already have a gaming PC and game on that I would probably advise against it. Yeah Bloodbourne was one I forgot

If you have money to burn, then yes. Though the PS4 has loads of great games, also, PSVR is worth it for Resident Evil 7 and Rush of Blood. Then again, you could also buy a Switch for Zelda alone too.

In all seriousness, I'd always advise against buying a console for one game, as any sane person would do unless you are filthy rich. And if you are, just buy an awesome PC!

Disgusting how much Nintendo've forced me to do just that over the years.

Thanks. Horizon Zero Dawn looks great. Maybe the first game to overtake Witcher 3 in terms of character graphics/animation? Heard good things about Nier as well.

Good shout! I liked Dark Souls so I'll probably like that one.

I'm not filthy rich at all, quite the opposite, a poor student. But I figure I can sell my PS4 after playing P5 etc and recoup at least 1/2 or 2/3 of the cost.

If you like souls games, believe it or not Zelda is the one to go for  Plus you could sell the switch again for the same money you buy it for!

I'll have to play this one before I recommend it though. Persona games are usually great though, but I'm not fully convinced it's worth a whole new console! I hope it is.

Persona 4 was incredible. I was not convinced as it's not my type of game but when I got it, I could hardly put my Vita away. 70 or 80 hours down the drain.

Almost.

Well it's not available anywhere here, it's like that with Altus games every single time. I'll still get it today, at latest on Monday but probably won't get down to this for another 2-3 weeks.

Golden is £3.99 on the vita... Worth a purchase?
Yes it is amazing and easily the best game on the Vita. That's a huge bargain, will need to check if the other personas are on sale too
