Spurs showing how to kick the football into the goal against a lesser team.

Son is so much better than Lingard, same age, similar position. But we stick with mediocrity
17 goals for the season. Son is up there with Nakata, Honda, Kagawa and Park as one of the best Asians players.

Trippier would start for most PL clubs. Reckon he'd be perfect to replace Coleman at Everton.

He's such a lively bugger. Don't think he'd be given license to play like that under Jose.

Everytime I see him he's just so direct and quick, always seems to cause problems. Smart player.

If Son played for us I reckon he'd polarise opinion just like Nani tbh

Pretty disheartening to see Spurs score a goal like that when we struggle to score at home, game after game.
It's not like we don't try all these routes to goal at Old Trafford but someway somehow, it either hits the post and the goalie makes an outstanding save.

I have been watching Spurs too to see what they different. This is exactly the same way we play. It's just that there's a supernatural force that keeps United's gazillion number of shots away from goal.

We are cursed!

Spurs are delightful to watch, full of creativity, energy and goals. Even though Kane does bulk of their scoring, you have Alli, Eriksen and Son who have managed to score 30 goals between them. Poch has done a super job, a silverware could propel them to another level.

I'd compare the Son signing with Martial, as they were bought at the same time and play similar roles. Martial used to be compared favourably with Ali on here, but Son has got 10 goals and 4 assists in 1500 mins. That's what is needed from Martial in the future.

Who knew shooting outside the box could be so effective.

Ozil would have played the ball out to Iwobi, who would have tried a return pass. It would get intercepted and the opposition would score on the break.

17 goals in all comps for Son. He's stepped up multiple times with goals when Kane has been out. Really taken a step forward this season.

You're probably right. But they are going to face each other in 2 weeks, so that will make things clearer.
They have already played each other twice, Spurs still have to play Arsenal and us. While only tricky games for Chelsea is away to Everton and us and let's be honest with they way we are playing, they are probably going to beat us.

Definitely. He needs to impose himself more on a game but he seems to be an introvert on the pitch.

He used to do that for Spurs fans, because he can be so wasteful and frustrating at times ... but he just fecking scores and scores and scores and you can't really get too upset when that happens.

It's really strange but in all 3 goals the opponents weren't 'pressing' and 'let' them take the shots without pressure. Why won't the opponents to that when they play against Manchester United? Not saying this would change anything - the players still have trouble shooting...

WHL is so quiet.

Chelsea had better beat Bournemouth later.

Why is Walker being rotated so much?
He's carrying a slight knock plus I'd say Trippier deserves a few more starts and he absolutely tore Watford apart last game and is doing so again so it's a good choice by Poch imo.

They just seem to thrive on responsibility. Our players it seems to weigh them down. Why didn't we sign Alli?

5 shots on target, 3 goals.
United had 11 shots on target against Burnley and we failed to score from any of them.

That's the difference between us and the teams in the title race. We are so wasteful - the prodigal son of the Premier League.

Spurs are like a well-oiled machine atm. Excellent form.

As a team they are much better than the the sum of their parts. They have some very good players indeed, but I feel that if you take them out of that team they might not perform as well elsewhere. For me the star of that team is Pochettino, they way he has them performing.

Yes, sorry, I meant the FA. The way a win could between to 'rivals' that can change things. A win for Chelsea could show Spurs that they can't be beaten in the PL. A win for Spurs could make Chelsea a bit more nervous and they could make easy mistakes. Maybe I'm thinking wrong.

Alli scored the same amount of non penalty goals in the PL as Kane tbf.

But to be fair, there wasn't much pressure on the players when they took the shots. A bit easier then...

I know, I wasn't clear. Meant more on the mental level, rather than the points. A win for Chelsea and they'll show Spurs that they are too strong...
Ah, I see. Though, a lot will be clearer before that match - Spurs with two winnable home games (one already done), Chelsea with two losable away games (Bournemouth and United). Could be a point difference by then! (knock on wood) And don't think any of them will care too much about FA Cup then. Well, think Spurs wont at least.
