Aren't you two ungrateful little pricks. We're talking about a senior player here who's committed to the team, never moans about sitting on the bench. Young has taken a pay cut. The fact that you think he's a lesser player than Phil Neville and Park is making me furious. You two are absolute monkeys.

Replace Giggs? He came here as Ashley Young - a forward/striker. Excelled as a really great defender in his later years. £17m for an England international with tons of talents? That's value to me.
His stats were posted for an attacking player, and it's woeful. He can't cross for shit, but he can eat it.

Good wind up.

He's actually the only one in the wall who doesn't jump for Sigurdsson's freekick. Mr Gives Everything.

The reason why Ashley Young, the shortest person in that wall, is standing at the edge of the wall is so that DDG can get a good view of the ball and see it coming earlier. That's the reason he doesn't jump. It was a perfect free kick, we can forget about blaming anyone for that.

Don't forget the hard workers and the ones that never moan.
With so many hard working squad players in our team I'm shocked we're not challenging Chelsea for the title. The fact they are happy to pick up £100k a week without moaning should give us the edge over our rivals.

He's not shite at all. Good squad player to have.
I think he's even slipped past that now. He just doesn't do anything. You don't want to see a player with a great attitude leave but it's definitely time.

He wasn't the problem yesterday, thought he was one of the only ones who could be arsed. (Probably down to fatigue)

It's getting to the point where we resemble a Sunday league team. Too shit to play anywhere else? Stick yourself in the full back role.

It's ridiculous because the modern full back is a big part of the attacking phase.

We all love United
Has a habit of doing those pointless shimmys and either ended up nowhere or ran it out of play. Why not just be direct and whip in the crosses simply onto a teammates's head which he is pretty decent at?

You have literally just pulled that out of your arse. If anyone is going to jump in a wall it's the person on the furthest end from the keeper as it's the end he'll have the most difficulty getting to.

I would want to be keeping him away from the left side unless we absolutely have to have him there (which we did in the end) because he can't use his left foot. His move is to run down the outside and cut in/back at unconventional angles to deliver gawky passes through the lanes at odd angles when a natural left would be able to deliver a much more consistent and measuted end product. We need him on the right because his ability to go at his man and make a sensible pass in my opinion is much higher than Valencia. We are definitely running on fumes when he is playing heavy minutes.

So you think it's a pure coincidence that the shortest player was at the end of the wall? Or is there a particular reason for it? Also, by your logic, if Ashley Young jumps and the freekick is drilled low, the keeper would have the most difficulty trying to save if it went under Young's feet. It makes no sense to blame a person in the wall for a brilliant freekick. You're being unnecessarily harsh.

Another big injury blow given his ability to come in at RB or LB, basically means Valencia and Darmian have to play every game now (what with Shaw and TFM out as well)

Looked like he said his hamstring had "gone" so it's an unlikely return this season if true. Annoying.

Unlucky. Performed well whenever he has been given the chance this season.

If Smalling is back Blind can cover LB.

Such a shame. The tracking back to make that challenge which lead to the GK was fantastic. Just a shame it looks like thats ended his season for us.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
I'll just post this one here.

:drool:Our four mood-makers from the current squad, their not-so-obvious roles and contributions to the team.

I find these type to be valuable member(s) to any successful groupings - useful in order to have a good harmony atmosphere, social integration and stronger social bonding leading to unity.

I remember :DPatrice Evra is like the joker of our football domination squad under SAF. Ferdinand too I think.
