It was Cristiano + 10 on the pitch tonight. Game highlights will look like a Ronaldo compilation, every attack went through him.

11 goals in 5 games so far in the qualification for the World Cup. He scored his 73rd goal for Portugal, hopefully he manages to reach 100.

Whats the most goals scored in a single world cup tournament? Im actually thinking Ronaldo is going to beat it next year.

This is getting a bit silly. Even if the opposition today was subpar he can't stop scoring and looking so fresh and so on point with his runs and movement. Looking forward for their first match against Mexico, should be a very entertaining game and he's going to give his all in that cup as he's getting a whole month of vacations after his participation in that cup finishes.

From a United fan point of view it's a shame that when people look back on his career it will be all about his time at Real Madrid. United will be seen as a stepping stone to greatness achieved at Real Madrid in the same way that Sporting Lisbon will be seen as an even lesser footnote

I don't know I have a number of mates who are fans of spurs and Liverpool and so and Esch one of them think the whole progression of his career has shown how great a player he is. Starting at sporting working hard and getting into the team, making his move to us and having the number 7 on his back from the get go and developing even further to a very complete player before leaving for Madrid where the inevitable fruit of his labour came to fruition. He deserves everything he has. The guy is immense in every aspect of his game.

On the other hand and this isn't to try and take away from the rediculous talent that is Messi. He started at Barca a super club and will likely never leave. Either way I don't really I think we are blessed to have seen both players of a lifetime in our lifetimes gracing us with such ability. There won't be anything like these two players again. So different as players but so gifted.

He is definitely on fire, another great performance with goals, assist, and even many dribbles. He has scored over 50 goals this season again for Real and Portugal. Not only he is top scorer in CL, he is also leading top scorer in WC qualifiers with 11 goals.

Ah shit, i didnt know it was that much. I reckon he could get to 8 or more if Portugal go deep.
For him to score that he needs to replicate what he did this season managing to get to the end of the season in top form. What he already did in UCL is crazy and very unlikely to happen again soon and in the world cup it would depend on many things but Real Madrid is already planning on giving him plenty of rest and not rushing him back to the team. I've read some articles about Ronaldo getting a full month of vacations once Confederations Cup ends, and then he would join the team to make pre-season trainning and introduce him slowly to the team and manage him in a way he hits top form around March. So if everything goes according to plan next season he could be massive for Real Madrid and Portugal (if they do qualigy).

He'll break the European record for most international goals next year, maybe during the WC in Russia.

I feel like the best thing for Portugal and Madrid would be Ronaldo being injured for the first month of the season again. Never seen him end a season in such amazing form.

Some reports in Portuguese press that he just had twins. Again, surrogate mother. If it's true, he will confirm it.

What's with the surrogate children? He doesn't want to start his own family?

All this surrogate business is strange but whatever, it's his business. But if he did come out as gay or something nobody would be really THAT surprised and it would be a good thing for football. Just like if Wayne Rooney came out with HIS true nature it would be good news for all ogres growing up to know that their hero was an ogre too.

It is pretty strange in fairness. Why would a guy like Ronaldo who's probably drowning in clunge every night need to pay someone to have his kids?

Unless he's gay. That'd explain it.

If you were rich, wanted kids and didn't have a long time partner what would you do? Having followed his whole career, watched interviews, etc. I'm pretty sure he's not gay and it's pretty weird how people assume that just for the way he's had his kids.

Don't know where to put this.
Has new set of twins. Delivered by a surrogate.
The man is very smart.

Just because he has to fend off all the clunge being thrown at him every day doesn't mean he's found a suitable mother for his children. By not having a mother in the picture he gets to keep his kids no matter what and can enjoy all the clunge in the world without the risk of having to share or lose custody for them.

It's fecking weird, but nothing in Ronaldo's life is ever going to seem normal for us regular folk.

He has started his own family, it is his sperm. I think he does it so he will always have custody of his children, no break up could take them away from him.
This.

I always assumed the first child was a 'mistake' after a one night stand and he simply took full custody but it seems it's his idea to avoid custody issues. So what about his potential girlfriends? basically he would never end up marrying them and starting a family, must be odd for them.

Dunno, don't care. As far as I care his babies could come from space.

His private life is his private life, what matters for me is what he does in the pitch and this guy is a monster. 32y old and still banging goals like he is playing against division B teams.
The only thing that bothers me is that him and Messi kinda ruined football for me. Almost a decade of either Barça or RM winning all the important stuff and its always Messi or Ronaldo leading the way.
Then we go to the individual rewards and there's no more expectation neither since every single year we already know that one of those 2 is gonna win it.

I'm really happy that I could enjoy both of this monsters play but I miss the expectation of who's gonna win the ECL, BdO, etc.

Most probably after the fame then.

Exactly what I'm thinking too. About 50% of all relationships go south, and I can imagine the rate is higher for celebrities.
