Surprised nobody seems to be mentioning this guy. We have our own little gem a year or two away in Angel Gomes and Soteldo seems more a number 10 though he can play on the wing (yes we have enough of those already) Anybody saw Soteldo in the U19 championships surely couldnt fail to be impressed? The dribbling ability and turns with a low centre of gravity, through balls and weight of pass he showed were incredible at certain moments.

I certainly wouldnt mind him but in a premiership awash with money I cant believe so far it seems no clubs have been throwing crazy money at his club, he probably wouldnt even be that expensive?

No, its more like wouldn't it be nice if we signed him.
Oh right, this got moved from the transfer forum to the football forum.
Never seen this guy play, but I'm always for getting top, young players in.

He's tiny so profile dosen't fit premier league but amazed a european team hasn't snapped him up yet.

5 foot 2 according to Wiki
He is really tiny when you see him on the pitch but ball can be glued to his feet and he can score or create chances with a little shift

I remember years ago randomly going to Stoke-Valencia in the europa and Valencia had a player called Pablo Piatti who was only about 5ft 4 and he was really good on the night, this was peak Pulis team aswell.

Piatti! Now there's a blast from the past. Had a decent enough career in La Liga. I remember him being linked with United as a youngster.

Looks good but very small. He put in a good ball near the end too. I can’t see him becoming a hit in Europe due to his size. How tall was Giovinco?
