Um yeah obviously, but Martial did more in his 35 minutes than Rashford did in the 140-odd minutes that he played! We're not always going to have it that easy.

I'm no genius either but I'm guessing you play the players who are scoring goals over the ones that aren't.

Leicester will put up more of a challenge than WH or Swansea. But I think United will win.

Keep in mind, Leicester have an away game against Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night. I'm sure Leicester will rest a few regulars, but some will feature too.

If only football was that simple. We should avoid tinkering for the sake of it and I've seen little solid argument across the threads why we should.

I expect Leicester to sit back and counter in which case Rashford offers more. If we plan on sitting deeper ourselves and go with a midfield 3 then Martial might make more sense as he'll take chances Rashford won't but i don't think we will.

Leceister aren't shite like West Ham. Provided they defend properly they'll be a tough test. They deserved a win against Arsenal.

    I'd take a 2-1 win right now.
I see where you are coming from. But if LCFC attempt to "play" and not park the bus, they'll get steam rolled.
The problem which occurred for both teams we played so far, is that we managed to get 1 goal against them. This forced them to "play" and not park the bus. The moment they stopped parking the bus, BOOM!!!
So, if LCFC attempt to park the bus, then 2-1 is quite possible. But if they decide to "play", I can see them conceding 4 goals.

Same team but Martial in for Rashford. I think Rashford is trying very hard but we can't afford him to be so wasteful in front of goal. He should be taken out of the firing line. People saying we need a 3 man midfield because it will be harder game are wrong. We've just won 4-0 twice in a row and confidence is high. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Attack is the best form of defence, we need the extra attacker at home because Leicester will sit deep and defend in their own half. Leicester should be setting up to stop us not the other way round.

I'd swap Martial who looks really bright at the moment foe Rashford, the rest can stay the same.

I don't think it'll be either extreme (park the bus vs. all out attack). I think they'll be a fair challenge by simply playing on the counter.

United could do with Pogba whacking one in from distance early to settle things. Either that or Lukaku just bullying their centre backs in the air.

Same starting 11 again, except Martial in for Rashford.

SUBS - Herrera (Mata), Rashford (Martial), Fellaini (Pogba).

I think we'll win fairly easily. Leicester won't come to park the bus so we should have plenty of space, I can see it being a really exciting, end to end game.

    Man United 3 - 1 Leicester City
Lukaku, Mkhitaryan, Pogba. Vardy for them.

We steam rolled them last season in both games. I know that was last season but we have a better team and are high on confidence. 2-0 minimum for me

Leicester have looked good so far, don't think we'll steamroll them. Would be very happy with a 2-0 win. The game will be open so I'd start Martial and keep the rest of the team the same.

Any reports on Vardy's injury? Him missing would be great for us.

For the record, I've predicted us to win 3-0 as that's what I think we should be doing.

I'm simply saying they aren't West Ham - it won't be as easy. But neither was Swansea and we won 4-0.

I reckon this will be a game where the 352 comes out. Darmian to be chosen so he can go inside with Mahrez

Well yeah and they still made it tough. I expect this to be the hardest test yet - or was that your point?
Was saying I expected Swansea to be easy and for the most part wasn't too difficult. Anyway, Liecester wont be easy but not many teams are in the PL anymore. I actually think we can win this 2-0 or 3-0 easily

    Rashford, herrera the subs.

Not sure if we'll keep a clean sheet again but I think we can get another big win. Martial, mata and lukaku to get goals, 3-1 win.

Had to look up what this was... Wish we could just call it the League Cup... So tired of the sponsorship changes.

On topic, I'd play the exact same 11 except Martial starting over Rashford. I think Rashford has played very well, but if Martial's cameos haven't earned him a start, what would?

I would swap mata for martial, we have mkhi who can play in the middle, mata is a bit of overkill in terms of number 10's, would like to see rashford and martial cut through leicester with mkhi playing off lukaku, think martial has earned that spot with his 2 goals in 2 minutes, and with pogba able to drive forward with valencia, martial and rasford would give us that extra thrust. But martial on the left, mkhi on the right could give us that balance on what we need. I do think rashford is that kind of player who could be deadly has a super sub.

With it being at OT I would expect us to spank them.

If we were going to the Walkers/Kingpower who ever they have sold out to this week stadium I would be more inclined for a tight 1-0.

Smalling scored. Blind had two assists. Was a statement from us then we went on to drop 9 points out of 12. That Chelsea match among them. We're a better team this time round though so expect us to win comfortably and continue our form.

    This.

Twice in the space of a week Martial has shown Rashford how it's done. Already sick of watching Rashford trying to beat every player on the pitch and running into spaces that don't exist.
You mean just like Ronaldo was accused of in his first 2 seasons here?

    Ronaldo was incomparable, though.
Even in his first EPL start for us, the guy was dynamite. He just lacked the final ball/product.
Rashford clearly does not possess the same level of skill/talent/ability.
In saying all of that, I'd make no changes to the attack. Let Rashford tire out their RB, then bring on Martial with fresh legs against their tired RB.
I know it sucks for Martial to be a super sub, but he will get plenty of game time. Just look at Herrera - one of our best players last season, has barely played this season.

That just ignores the way football is actually played. When you come across a team that plays a different way you need to counter that or handle it. That may require different players to come in. Horses for courses. The play the same team if it wins idea is incredibly naive.

I wouldnt necessarily say they looked good against Aresnal. Real bottle job by them.

How can people be saying the same team as previously? Martial is infinitely more clinical than Rashford at the moment. He surely has to start. I would also swap Mata for Herrera. Leicester will be a sterner test than the last two games. The more pace and attacking prowess, the better.
Its really difficult to say. I'm not pro rashford over martial but i do think he is more determined and industrious.

Whilst not the best qualities for an attacker, against teams who sit back and frustrate you a player like rashford will keep "plugging away", tiring the opposition out. Then martial comes on to tired legs and takes advantage.

Martial is class but he does go missing sometimes and has had his work ethic questionned.

Having said that i would like to see him start, as hes done so well off the bench so far.
