The most unpleasant is the gesture of Alves. They are top players but also newcomers. It is logical that there is a certain hierarchy.
Logically Neymar is the star but that does not mean that he has to step on Cavani, who on the other hand is not a nobody.
It was simply a penalty, but it is not the first time that Neymar has bad faces, or ugly gestures with rivals.
As far as I remember with Madrid of galácticos the clans in the locker room are not good, nor players who have the power to point to team mates

Did anyone even bother to read the OP?
Weird thread this. Normally people jumped on thread title, OP and ignore the content of the link. For once, everyone followed the link and ignore OP. CAF is having a change of heart :smirk:

Dybala incoming. Cavani seems like a nice guy. Its' the 2 pricks, Neymar and Alves who are causing problems.

That's expected. For all his talent, Neymar's strops are worse than what even Ronaldo or Messi are capable of. He seems to be a thoroughly unlikeable fella, and PSG now need to deal with the downside of buying a superstar for such a huge fee, as Neymar now would want to have his sway over any incoming players or managers.

As for Alves, good thing he rejected us. When he was at Juve, he had the cheek to openly say that Dybala should leave the club. His presence at PSG can help Neymar and cause more problems.

Basically, 2 talented players who are not worth the trouble.

Perhaps, but there was no need to boot the ball into the stands at the final whistle so that Drogba couldn't take it after scoring a hatrick. The only time I've seen Lampard act cnutish!
Did he really do that? That's shocking .. I'm sure it was out of joy of winning the title or did him and Drogba often have handbags?

And they did that to the guy who has been in the club for far longer than them, truly grade A cnuts, I thought Neymar is already over his childish attitude and matured a lot after he plays with guy like Messi and Iniesta, but now that he's the top dog once again, he's back to his Santos' days
He always will be a cnut as a person. No matter what kind of publicity he is and will be doing for his image.

Maybe. But Messi has a similar role at Barca and they have been very successful.
Messi at Barca and Neymar at PSG is not comparable at all. Besides, i can't see Messi acting like this to his teammates at all, if he just joined a new club.

Does Cavani fancy a move to Manchester? I do not mind Cavani here for cheap if PSG want rid, he's not the most prolific but he's physcially perfect for the PL at his age
He had 35 goals last year and is already on 7 in 7 this season.

Were Austria down to nine men or something? Not wanting to take anything away from that great skill displayed in putting that one away, but how do you end up leaving Neymar with 7 yards of space inside the box?
It was a counter attack. This and Austria being very weak in the right side of their defense. All the three goals were in their right side.

He'll always be remember as the player that got close to Ronnie and Messi's level for about a minute, then feking off to France and becoming a kid diva. It's a bit funny and a bit sad.

Or, Brazil’s all time top scorer (only 20 away from Pele as it stands - and also 50 odd caps away from all time leader Cafu), and an excellent player who still has enough years left to return back to Spain and fulfill his potential.

I think he was like a Ronaldinho with end product. The kinda player you wanna watch his matches, regardless who he plays for.

Fulfilling his potential is a very big IF atm, a very big one.

I didn't say he wasn't an excellent player, he is, but he's still far from where he could be if he wouldn't have that nasty ass attitude.

Great player, but not a man yet, still a kid and that, for me, will never make him a top top player.

The Brazilian then took his time to think through his choices before revealing: “It’s very hard, it’s very difficult, but Manchester City will win it.”

Pressed on who would take the other top four places, Neymar rubbed his chin before saying: “Second will be United, third is Chelsea.”

The Brazilian then paused before adding: “Fourth is Tottenham.”

Neymar was joined at the Pokerstars event by his former Barcelona team-mate Gerard Pique, who was close by listening to Neymar’s predictions.

Pique reacted in shock as Neymar dubbed Spurs as fourth-place finishers - handing a snub to Liverpool.

But Neymar confirmed “no Liverpool” - despite the Reds sitting top of the pile after four games of the Premier League.

Unrealistic, but still, sign him up

Brazilians hardly ever fulfill their potential to begin with, but Neymar should be their all-time top scorer before his career is over. That alone would place him in the history books.

If this prediction turns to be true perhaps the Cafe cult that was looking for someone to worship has found it.

How many of those goals were in friendlies though. I'd like to see a stat that only accounts for competitions/qualifiers.

His status as legend for the brazilian team surely can't just depend on individual achievments. If he doesn't win a WC with them, that would surely lessen his legacy despite the individual records. He was unfortunate in 2014, but his performance in 2018 was terrible.

If you're going to go down that route, there are countless legendary players, current best players, etc that have had the same amount of friendlies themselves. I mean CR7 made a living off teams like Andorra, etc. That's not a valid criticism.

He was still dealing with his injury, I still believe to this day he is not fully recovered from what was a serious injury, and most likely won't be back to 100% until the new year. He simply should not have played in that world cup, similar to CR7 who shouldn't have played in 2014. It's just the immense pressure of the best player for the country that he had to show up and play through the pain even if he was a shell of himself.

Having a whinge about being booked for diving.

I do not know what I have to do to live with it [this reputation], there's no way I'm going to stand for a situation like this. I think it has to end,' he told Globo Esporte.

'But it's not up to me, so much that I did not say anything, I went on with my football.

'It's a lack of respect, not just with me, but with my team-mates as well.

'Playing with a yellow card is tricky. The guy comes here to officiate a Brazilian national team match, which is a very big selection, and he does that. I don't think it is correct.

'If he does not want to give the penalty, it's not a problem, but the card is unnecessary.'
