How does the guy even cope with all this stress? He doesn't even drink alcohol to begin with.
A complete lack of mental health helps. He sees something, gets angry for a while and then completely remodels what happened until he is the hero again who is love by almost anyone. In his mind, he is perfect. He doesn't need drugs for that. There is not the slightest bit of self doubt in his mind.

I have very little doubt that he is a borderline sociopathic narcissist, I do however think he has incredibly thin skin for someone so brazen and it does look like the constant criticism is getting to him. I can't see it changing him in any way but wouldn't be surprised if he quit on ill health once the humiliation becomes too great for him.

The worry then is that Pence is in many ways a worse prospect despite his more diplomatic demeanour. We've got to hope Trump lasts long enough to alienate the voters to the point where the GOP lose control of the senate.

I also think it gets to him. But only for brief moments which can lead to aggressive outbursts. With time, he simply reimagines what ever happened and actively surrounds himself with positive reinforcement until he is the greatest human being in world history again. Hence his Fox fandom.
He honestly believes he is as great as he says. He honestly believes his crowd was as big etc. That's how his mind (doesn't) work.

Pathalogical Liars need not really care about truths and the real world getting to them, when you lie so much and people believe you, end up not giving a care in the world.

This. As weird as it may sound, i think Trump staying in office is the better solution, or at least the lesser of two evils. Pence has the same shitty attitudes as him, difference is that hes not a moron. And even if the Russia investigation incriminates Pence as well to such an extent hes not eligible for office, who is next in line? Paul Ryan?

In the current system there is really no good outcome

What Trump has done is let the GOP show their true colors, and let's hope they keep doing that, because it might finally dawn on people what kind of politics they really are peddling

It could all work out nicely if Trump makes it into the 20s in terms of approval ratings and it drags and drags till 2020.

I just hope he doesn't pass away before he realizes he is the most loathed president in history.

Unlikely yet ideal scenario: investigation drops another bombshell that causes the House and Senate to flip in 2018. Eventually Trump AND Pence are implicated. They both resign. The Speaker of the House (at this point, Pelosi) becomes president. Anthony Kennedy, RBG immediately annonce they will retire from the Supreme Court.

Given we are now in parallels with Nixon....would Meuller concentrate on Pence first, to clearly establish his culpability or innocence before focusing on DT.

I'm just remembering that Agnew had to resign first over watergate. Also thinking that they would not want to have Trump at the point of impeachment, he resigns but they then have a lingering investigation over Pence.

Would they want to lance the boil in one fail swoop?

Pat Robertson Urges Trump To Pardon Everyone, Then Stop Mueller Probe
“He can ... say, ‘All right, I pardon them all, case closed, it’s all over,’” the TV preacher says.
I may be wrong but my understanding is this
If Trump was to pardon someone then that person would no longer have the right to invoke the 5th Amendment in court (because they could not incriminate themselves as they have been pardoned)
So if they came to court they could be forced to testify against for example Trump and refusal to do so would see them in trouble as the original pardon would not cover any Perjury or obstruction charge from non cooperation... so actually pardoning people could seriously backfire if there is any real crime

Trump congratulates T-Rex on size of hands
So that's the meeting where this quote was taken from? I knew it.

"How are Mr. Trump’s hands?"
"My hands are fine. You know, my hands are normal. Slightly large, actually. In fact, I buy a slightly smaller than large glove, okay? No, but I did this because everybody was saying to me, “Oh, your hands are very nice. They are normal.” - Donald J Trump

I may also be wrong, but it was my understanding that they have to admit guilt before they can be pardoned.

Agnew resigned over a different issue I believe.

Yup google confirms his crimes had nothing to do with the watergate investigation instead it was corruption when he was a Governor,
