It was probably only a matter of time before somebody made a thread on this kid but I'm sure we'll hear and see a lot more of him this season.

An exciting, attacking flair midfielder with an eye for goal, quick and impressively comfortable with the ball at either foot.

He's in the class of 2001 which is very young but a year younger than Gomes who's probably going to be playing with the U23s this year so he may get some opportunities in the U18s.

Remember reading an article a few years back saying that after 4/5 years in the Academy the Coaches still couldn't work out which was his strongest foot, he's no slouch, far from it, but if he can sort out his running style which looks awkward at times but may come naturally as he grows into his body he could be something very very special.

Why his running style needs to be fixed? I feel sometimes people just care about top speed which understandably improves with correct running technique. However, in football the running style needs to be natural as it helps with balance, shielding the ball in possession, opening body to shoot, pass, feint, driving/dodging challenge...

Cristiano added proper sprinting technique in his running, but arguably it's only effective when he runs off ball.

Cheers. Heard anything about Bobby Duncan trying to escape from City and being benched because of it?
Apparently he wants to move somewhere where he will get a clearer path to the first team, wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at Liverpool since Gerrard is his cousin

What sets him apart is his first touch and two footedness (not even to mention his speed), I can't remember seeing a more two footed player at any level (even Ravel). It means in a millisecond and he can put defenders on their asses as he can literally turn them in any way he fancies before they can move to stop him. Really hope he keeps progressing as he could offer something truly unique in attack.

His goal against Derby was awesome. So little room but managed to round the keeper and passed it in from an acute angle. Great technique. Natural talent.

Right now along with Gomes, and Chong our best talent.

Along with Angel he is probably the most prodigiously talented kid we have had since Ravel. I hope they both turn out better.
I feel Gomes is going to struggle to transition into the senior game, unless he takes a Verratti-esque step back, whereas Greenwood looks like an Henry/Sane/Bale type animal already. Feel he could be a star.

Yeah Gomes has got some growing to do hasn't he. He might fade away if he stays the same size.

Averaging 3 goals a game is ridiculous no matter what age group it is.
That side is special.

Extremely impressive. Is he going to be a striker going forward or more like a 10?
Looks like we're trying to turn him into a number 9 and it's going well so far with him scoring 9 goals & getting a couple of assists in the 5 games he's played as the number 9

Not sure if it's considered technique or anything like that but I've noticed he's got a good ability to create space for himself in the box, I think it's to do with how well he can shift the ball to either foot as he's comfortable with both feet, whenever he pulls it off he'll have a yard or two of space to himself it's really clever play. Really nice skill for a striker to have and helps him create lots of opportunities, hope he continues to develop as he is doing.

I think he's gonna be a right-wing forward, like Rashford or Martial on the left, but on the other side because he is left-footed. Rashford also played as a striker in the academy, but that means nothing - coaches do that to make young fast players more lethal and stronger

Is he? I was under the impression he doesn't quite know.
