Smacks of trying too hard to be edgy and funny in these overly pc times.
I dont like Joey Barton, however when he is on talksport I dont think he is trying overly hard to be anything, his mouth just runs away with the first thing that pops into his head, i dont think theres any of malice of forethought goes in to it.
Can't work out if he means the manager who Everton gets or the manager who gets Everton.

It was a painful analogy, that went on far too long without any real punch line. It followed on from the rather more insightful comparison he made about David Unsworth being little more than a " fat PE teacher ", which did make me chuckle, in a snidey, Scouse, sort of way.
Does he actually have beef with Everton or is he just being silly? Wasn't it against them when he got his arse out?
Can't stand the man. A bang average player who's reputation was made by idiotic and nasty controversy. The sixth-form-like curation of his own Twitter account is painful but the public's appetite to be spoon fed this hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold nonsense is the real embarrassment.
