Well, I was pleasantly surprised watching this. I can't recommend it highly enough!!!

The IMDb plot reads :-

"The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" series is set on New York's Upper West Side in the late 1950s, where a privileged Jewish housewife, Miriam "Midge" Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan), lives with her lousy husband Joel (Michael Zegen), an aspiring comedy writer. But when he leaves her for another woman, Midge decides to take a crack at her own stand-up ambitions, with the help of Suzie (Alex Borstein), a no-nonsense bartender at a comedy club."

Has it been released? Heard good things about it ealier in the year, but it hadn't been picked up for a full season, if I recall it correctly.

This was great. Definitely worth a watch IMO. Has a Mad man feel to it for sure but is much more cheerful and comic. The lead actress just hits out of the park as well.

Finally saw this series. A fantastic show, easily one of the best comedies on right now.

Finished season three this week and the missus and I both really enjoyed it. Didn't get off to a great start, mind. The first episode was relatively weak, so much so that we didn't watch the others 'til a couple weeks later, but it soon picked up steam and thought it ended really well.

Nice kind of show to watch during these strange times.

Wowser, wowser, wowsies. 11 minutes past Friday and this pops up in my Amazon prime. 2 episodes up apparently.

Too late tonight but I'm going to be excited all day tomorrow to finish work. :D

Edit: Two episodes of the NEW SERIES for clarity.
