Huge Joel Garner fan. Saw him play in the Wood Cup Final for Littleborough in the Lancashire League in 1976 all the way through to see him playing at the Kensington Oval in Barbados vs England in 1986. Fantastic bowler who could play in all forms of cricket on all sorts of wickets. Got to go with Moby on this. Tremendous batting line up, tremendous bowling line up with an all time great wicket keeper. That team is going to be very difficult to beat.

Saw him play in the Wood Cup Final for Littleborough in the Lancashire League in 1976 all the way through to see him playing at the Kensington Oval in Barbados vs England in 1986. Fantastic bowler who could play in all forms of cricket on all sorts of wickets. Got to go with Moby on this. Tremendous batting line up, tremendous bowling line up with an all time great wicket keeper. That team is going to be very difficult to beat.

Watching Best, Law and Charlton was a great introduction to a young kid watching football, however, Lancashire cricket (the one day variety) was just as much fun around that time. Lancs were the Kings of the one day game at the end of the sixties and early seventies winning a couple of John Player Leagues and also three or four Gillette Cups. The Central Lancs League also was a huge draw for me since I lived about a mile from the MCC (Middleton Cricket Club) and would go and watch Middleton as often as I could. The CLL had some really top players with the likes of Joel Garner, Andy Roberts, Basil D'Oliveira, even Gary Sobers playing in the League. I love cricket, it is my favorite sport and it's not even close. I am getting ready to retire at the end of this year and it is on my bucket list to go to the next Ashes series in 2021/22 in Australia. Can't wait!

George was in a league all by himself and not just for his football. He was IMLTHO the first real superstar of the English game with his off field shenanigans as popular with the press as what he actually did on the pitch. The Portuguese press dubbed him el Beatle after his superb performance against Benfica in 1966 because of his mop top and movie star looks, thus he was already a star in the International game before he was even 20. Maradona good, Pele better, George Best.

Not sure if that was for me or not. If it was (and I'm presuming you mean live) yes I have seen Viv and Botham, the last time being when I went to Barbados in '86. Unfortunately I never managed to see Sunil Gavaskar live.
