Rumors are growing in Brazil that Ronaldinho will run for Senate in 2018.

Good for him, had it not been for him running for the party of the Brazilian Trump, Jair Bolsonaro, who famously has wished torture, rape and other things to his political opponents. Bolsonaro would also like a return to military dictatorship and frequently insults homosexuals.

What a fall from grace for Ronaldinho if this can be confirmed.
