Two to start off: Jonny Evans & Wilifred Zaha.

Two ex-United players, funnily enough...

Yours?

Would I get banned for saying Martial? He's at totally the wrong club with the manager they have, should be at any number of clubs who would make him into Ballon D'or contender

Right now, Leandro Paredes.

In the past: Carlos Valderrama

Reus playing a career at Dortmund is below the size of club he could of gone to

This isn't a thread about if a player is at the correct club for his style.

Funnily enough though we can say most of City's squad, since they probably hadn't heard of you before the takeover.

Always felt Hamsik could have done better than Napoli.

Also Darijo Srna spent too much of his career at Shaktar Donetsk, he could easily have been at a top club during his prime.

With the way Football is players at clubs way beneath their level do not stay there long. He is a few that will probably change clubs real soon.

Hakim Ziyech
Hirving Lozano
David Neres
Malcolm
Nabil Fekir
Houssem Aouar

In the past, Le Tissier and Shearer (one title or not).
In the past many didn't gravitate to big clubs quite to the same degree as the last 10 years or so. Maradona being at Napoli wouldn't happen in the modern era.

Right now, Leandro Paredes.

In the past: Carlos Valderrama
Why edit to take Riquelme out? I think he's world class in a team built around him.

All the class players playing for a tinpot club Manchester city. Not bitter just telling the truth.

Marco Reus, should have moved to Bayern like Lewandowski. Shame about his injury record though.

Kyrchowiak at WBA.(what the feck was he thinking signing for Pulis after playing at Sevilla and PSG)

Chadli again at WBA.

Shaqiri at Stoke.

Lanzini at West Ham.

Hazard at Chelsea(:D:D)

Nah, of course you wouldn't. Would agree with you he might do better under different management but that applies to a number of players at different clubs. Different issue to someone playing at a club in the bottom of the league.

I only edited him about because he played for us for a year.

Thinking about it, I should probably put him and Totti back in there. Riquelme spent his prime playing for Villarreal and Totti for Roma.

David Neres has definitely not outgrown Eredivisie yet, he only just recently started producing and his overall game really isn't that great, so you can't say Ajax is below his level. Hakim Ziyech is probably ready for a move abroad, but don't think he'd get into a top team right away.
Lozano I don't know. Looks promising but has everything yet to prove imo. A good start would be to show consistency in the Eredivisie before making too big a move, imo. But wouldn't surprise anyone if he left next summer for a huge sum.

Surely you mean Darijo Srna?
FFS, you are right. I had a sneaky feeling I had done a mistake, but I just went ahead with it.

Yes, Darijo Srna is the one, remember him being linked to Chelsea but that was about it. He was absolutely brilliant in his prime.

I think it's entirely fair enough to say Mourinho isn't the right manager for Martial. But he's obviously not bigger than our club, most players aren't bigger than most clubs in fairness.

Ha I thought so, I think Rat played for West Ham at one point

but yeah Srna was a very good player, would have liked to see him test himself abroad at a top club.

Yea I remember him being a signing Van Gaal didn't want and didn't play so I didn't count that either. He would of been a good fit for Arsenal/Wenger.

Jonathan Viera of Las Palmas. One of the best playmakers in the world currently sitting bottom of La Liga.

Then all of City's squad since they grew up when City were in division 3. It took an oil state and billions to make your club remotely relevant.

Holger Badstuber. When fit, he's still a first rate defender, and Stuttgart are lucky to have him.
