Our best chance to win a trophy this season, gone.
It seemed to me that every cross was overhit, every first touch was too heavy, what the feck were we doing. Dreadful.

The better team won- It’s as simple as that. We got what we deserved, absolutely nothing.

At least I don’t have to fork out more money for another cup game!

Rashford didn’t cost us, and he wasn’t any more poorer than everyone else. Pathetic from 1st min to 90 from the team and manager alike.

Oh no, we don't get to play two semi finals in an already hectic schedule.

Can't say I'm bothered. Let Chelsea, City and Arsenal duke it out, we can focus on other things.

The performance irks me more. Absolutely terrible all round really. Really need a response at the weekend, result and performance wise.

Well deserved by Bristol.

We however, don't look like a well coached side in my humble opinion - and that really needs to change. Buying more players is not gonna help.

Anyway the second half was very entertaining from any neutral point of view, we got enough chances and couldn't convert them, while they could, so congrats to them. They're a very good team.

Great match from Shaw, impressed with his work rate tonight.

When Chelsea got there late winner I feared the worse, very rarely do the 4 big teams all win

Roll on the excuses.

The most worrying thing is that we really wanted to win tonight and did put in the effort, but just as we seen in too many times when the going gets tough this squad just does not have the quality required.

We threw everything at it but were just not good enough. We are just not good enough full stop.

They deserved it. Our squad isn't as deep as it was hyped up to be at the start of the season. Where was the hunger and composure? Saw a lot of frustration but very little quality from our lads.

Hope Chelsea draw City.

Heaven on earth
Poor final ball and decision making, Rashford was diabolical today. We created enough chances to win the game.

Was of those games, happy for Bristol

That's the treble dream over.

Blessing in disguise, we can concentrate on the more important trophies. To the double thread!

Their centre back Flint epitomised everything that we seem to lack.

First to everything. We knew we were struggling and thought we had extra time, so complacent. Darmian, Rashford, Zlatan to an extent, the majority of them - absolute load of dogshit tonight.

Thankfully it doesn’t really matter, but we’ve just created a negative buzz against us, and one poor result over Xmas in the league will blow it all up.

Obviously that was an embarrassing performance, but I don’t care. It’s the league cup. Our form in the league is more worrying.

Let’s be honest, it would have been a heartbreak if Bristol didn’t win that match. What a performance by them

Actually in disbelief at our performance. Our players can't string two passes together. How many clear cut chances did we have tonight against a Championship team.

Not MK Dons bad but it's still one of the lows in recent memory.

Extremely poor. There's no point complaining. They attacked well all night, I was particularly impressed with their movement off the ball.

We stank the place out. We look like strangers when we ring the changes and the complacency was there for all to see.

Good luck to them in the semi, but I don't fancy their chances against proper ruthless opposition (even Arsenal).

It's kinda funny init?
I do see the funny side. Not even slightly annoyed. Fair play Bristol.

League, FA Cup and Champions League is where we should be focusing. Obviously the league is out of sight but I want a good second half to the season and to finish second. CL and FA Cup are both doable, but a lot of luck needed for the first obviously.

Best team won. I’ve seen us play worse this season so it’s not like we can put it to a one off rubbish performance. Wasn’t great, but...
