What 2 players would you like to see come here in January

If we were to just bring in 2 players in January who would be your choice and why. Only who you think we have a chance of getting.

My 2 would be Sergie Roberto and Malcom. Push Pogba into playmaker role, and play Roberto with Matic. Malcom on RW.

Ozil and Griezmann.

Actually, screw it, I'll also take Sandro and that SMS guy, cheers.

What we'd like and what José might be interested in might be miles apart.

Malcom for the right wing. Goretzka or milinkovic-savic for cm. Ideally though i think we need a more nimble, creative type there like Silva or Isco. So I'd go for Lemar honestly, play him in a 3 with pogba and matic.

Milinkovic-Savic and Malcom would solve a few issues we have, we'd have a very decent team if we purchased them and they adapted to the new league quickly. But being it January it'd be a big culture shock to both of them and fans will be expecting them to hit the ground running.

How did you manage to post a Man Utd Transfer thread in the football forum?

From what I've seen this season, we have been awfully underwhelming on the right side and as much as I hate to write it, Valencia has been half the player he was last season. So one of the signings should be a RB or a RW, it's up to Jose to make that decision. I'd sell Darmian and go for a young athletic RB, who would be able to cover most of that area and allow someone like Mata or Mickhi to drift from the right. This is where I feel our scouting has to come into play.

The other one should be a technical midfielder, who is not scared of having the ball and driving with it forwards when the chance arises. Matic and Pogba are more than enough to cover the physical department so we need someone with specific technical skills, who can quickly open up space with his movement on and off the ball. We are too slow in attack because our midfield is static and our forwards try too hard to create opportunities from a stand-still.

David Luiz and Alex Sandro. Both available, both top class players and both will strengthen us.

We can go all out for Griezmann or Dybala in the summer.

Has anyone heard about this Malcom guy before last week?

Think a RW and CAM would make the biggest impact to our team. With that in mind Ozil and Malcom (whoever that is?) would make us a lot better. Left back does need addressing but Young is on great form and shaw looks good at the moment so I’d hold off till summer and re-evaluate again. A cm would also be a possibility but I really think our big weakness is linking the midfield to the attack and Ozil would do that perfectly!

I'd like Ozil and Mahrez, given I think it's realistic and would massively improve us.
We need players that can control the game a bit better, I'm not sure if Ozil can be that for us but I hope if we do get him he can.
As for Mahrez, I just think he's a very good player, he can create something out of nothing, has a great shot on him and isn't already playing for a top club like most players.
Ideally we'll sign players from the premier league, it just makes the step up a lot easier for them, rather than coming from somewhere like Italy and having a big shock when the culture and league is so much different.

One extremely technical, fearless, un-pressable midfielder and a player of supreme vision, passing and dribbling ability.

Latter being any one of am, rw or ss couldn't care less which as the skills > position in this instance.

Dominance through midfield would transform our attack.

Griezmann and Ozil.

Griezmann to replace Lingard on right flank. (Lingard shouldn't be starting at all) Ozil to replace Mihki at 10.
We don't need a LB for now. We have Young and finding form Shaw. Let's see until the end of the season to see if Shaw can really bring it back. If he fails, we use Young at LB and buy one next summer. No need for a panic buy for LB.

As much as we need to sort out the right wing and left back, I'd take a CM who can carry the ball and provide composure to our play, so we aren't relying solely on Matic and Pogba. The cover we have for the other positions is not ideal, but if either midfielder gets injured our game goes to pieces.

Not Really a transfer thread. Just asking who you would like. 2 players you think would make us better and that you think we could get in January.

Goretzka and Malcom would be decent
Goretzka is an awesome player and i for once think that our team will get a beautiful balance with him in the middle. Also Malcom will be a 22 year old magic on the right. I think you have got it spot on.

From the perspective of who we can actually get in the January window as opposed to who I'd like to see us get, I'd opt for Alex Sandro and......that's it really as none of the other players I'd like to see us buy are realisitc in January.

Malcolm - Young/fast/skillful and from Brazil, if that doesn't give the team and fans a lift nothing will.
Ryan Sessegon - Even if United loan him back for the rest of the season, i think it would be an exciting signing and give us something to look forward to next season.
