Every team has a blip, this is Utd's and it will pass.

2nd or 3rd, depends how good Chelsea will be.

The way we are going we'll have slid down to 5th before the end of January.

At this rate, no. We need to see a rejuvenation in the team because they're clearly on a downwards spiral while Liverpool and Spurs are getting back into gear.

No.

We won't catch Chelsea again this season, Spurs are a better team than us and will surpass us soon, along with Liverpool. Probably Arsenal, too.

Depends on this transfer window and on whether or not Unted can get its collective head out of its collective arse and start playing football.

The players are going through a horrible slump at the moment. Let's just hope that January introduces an upturn in our form.

Honestly speaking, though, this just feels like the past two seasons where a horrible slumps means that we miss out on the top 4.

I think we will. It's either that or Mourinho losing his sh*T and getting the hell out of United and taking up the Paris job. I'm sure he's as tired of the situation as all of us. He's a winner too. Our players on the other hand, can't win a pie-eating contest against anorexics.

Mourinho is gone if we don't - make no mistake about it. Woodward isn't putting up with that shite.

Will we? I hope we do. Probably get dragged into the 4th spot battle and hopefully nick it.

It would probably hurt our chances at landing some real talent in the Summer transfer window if we didn't finish in the top 4.

Everyone will jerk the knees and say no.

The reality is that we need to establish a back four and be able to scrape wins again. Back to basics. At the moment we're rubbish and look like a mid table side.

If we do something in January yes. If we don't it'll be touch and go.

We're not 2nd anymore though. I'm not sure what some members of the Caf have left to say now. "We're 2nd" is pretty much all they've posted for the last three months.

I got absolutely slated in a ‘we are actually quite good’ thread by suggesting we will drop out of the top 4 if we didn’t improve. I stand by it. We have been wank for months and results flattered us before December came along.
City, Liverpool and Chelsea are much better than us now. Given that we won’t get more than 2 points from playing any of the top 6 in the latter half of the season, I think it’s safe to say we will be fighting for 5th.

6. Arsenal
That was my prediction at the start of the season, except I had Arsenal in 2nd for some reason.

Look, it is a win-win situation. Make Top 4, hooray. Don't make Top 4, then the Glazers will panic and ensure we spend enough to bring in quality players.

There is zero to play for this season. Might as well stop getting worried and just go with the flow. Our attacking players are the worst of the top 6, so how can we even expect to beat our rivals except when they gift us wins? A season out of the CL is not a disaster for us, it is a disaster for the Glazers.

We need to show Arsenal’s ambition and claim a UCL spot as a trophy

I think we'll get top 4 but we'll have to watch plenty of dross along the way.

Why not actually discuss without a poll.
Yeah. Two games ago we were 8 points clear of fifth. Tomorrow we could be potentially 4 and after three draws in a row we know how the poll would end up going.

We're in a slump right now while the other teams are on a high. We need to beat Everton on Monday to give us a bit of confidence.

6th. Chelsea spurs arsenal Liverpool all will finish above us. And rightly so. They all play better football than us, they seem to have a plan and players who seem to give a shit. We are just a bunch of donkeys parading as stallions

It is going to be tight , if we are honest I don't think we are one of the 4 best teams in the league especially if Liverpool improve their defense with their new signing.

We are in with a shot but I would not be putting money on us. We lack any kind of attacking threat.

I'm just going on The Caf
Not playing like we have been, attackers who cant score midfielders who cant create and defenders who seem lately to go to pieces when being attacked.
Jose needs to turn this around quick.

We need some new blood in our attack or else I wouldn't put my house on us finishing top 4.

Hard to say. Chelsea are definitely better, but I think there's very little difference between Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and us. Will largely depend on form, injuries and who does what in January.

Given the general standard of our play in the previous two months and the nosedive in results since the derby, there's every reason for Liverpool & Spurs to be confident of finishing ahead of us at the moment.

No chance now that we've thrown our (fortunate) head start away. We won't score enough goals, nothing has changed from last season.
