Isn't this the case for all other teams and their players?
All teams are playing many games during the xmas period, not just us.
Now, it is possible that our players are not as fit as players from rival teams, but I doubt this.
Pogba, for example, is a ridiculously fit.

So, the excuse of "our players are tired" doesn't wash with me.
So true. If I am not mistaken, Salah has started almost every game for Liverpool and look how he's going. If players get tired at this level, then maybe they are just not cut out for it. This is no excuse for poor form or lack of motivation.

Everton game could be ugly. I certainly won't enjoy watching us try to string 2 passes together against an Allardyce backline.

Hopefully the City result today gives us a bit of a lift. We started the season brightly but tailed off close to Christmas. Our players minds were probably affected by City's form.

Think McTominay will start, Mourinho and the players don’t seem to have anymore ideas at the moment so maybe throwing in a fresh, inexperienced, pretty average (if you ask me) player into the mix will prevent us from going 1-0 down in stoppage time.

This is going to be an ugly, horrible game, Rooney will no doubt having a fecking blinder but we need a win here, doesn’t matter how it comes and hopefully the arse can get a good result against the chavs on Wednesday.

I’ll be watching from behind the sofa with a shit load of alcohol for company.

    We better start with this:

    -----------------DDG------------------
    ---------Lindelof--Jones--Rojo----------
    Young-------Matic---------------Shaw
    ------------Herrera--Pogba-----------
    ----------------Lingard----------------
    ---------------Martial-----------------

Shaw and Young need to use the width of the pitch. Matic and Herrera should do the hard work and defending so that Pogba gets a more creative role. Lingard for the pressing and Martial for the dribbling / finishing.

Young will be banned for the elbow, I think.

I am not being negative but we wont this game. Most likely a defeat.

Everton are having a new lease of life under Big Sam and are notorious game raisers . 3-1 to the hosts.

I'd love an international break right now.
I don't see Sam playing for the win. He didn't against Liverpool and Chelsea. He's going to park his bus and try to secure a draw, which he'll easily get considering our shite attacking form.

We fight! The lads are well aware now. No excuses. Stop moaning.

    In United I trust.

Watch Rooney score the winner while the noose tightens around Jose.

I'm being a sad pessimist and no matter how I think about this game I can't see us escaping with 3 points.

I don’t think he’ll really have to - there’s no game that gets Everton and Goodison as up for it as against United, and with our shocking form recently I can’t see us having the fight to get anything there. This is probably the last place I’d want us to play in this form, including Eastlands, Anfield and Stamford Bridge.

It's an evening kick off, and it'll probably be awful again, and can't have a drink after cause it's back to work Tuesday.
Tempted to watch a film instead, but I know I'll be tuning in to watch us run around like headless chickens again.

2-0 Everton. We look hopeless in front of goal and Big Sam have made Everton thought at the back at home.
If Everton have any sense they should go straight for us. We’ll concede and then shut up shop to keep it respectable. Players look shot of confidence and I sense the same amongst fans.

I just hope we don't play on crossing tomorrow. Will be ultra idiotic without Lukaku and Young as well. Imagine Lindelof making a cross for Rashford.

    De Gea
    Darmian Lindelof Jones Shaw
    Herrera Matic Pogba
    Lingard Martial Mata

Subs: Romero, Rojo, Tuanzebe, McTominay, Mkhi, Rashford, Gribbin

I'm strangely optimistic, think we'll edge it 1-0.

With Young now banned and Shaw looking shagged out by the end of the game yestreday I'm expecting the return of the dynamic duo to our fullback positions. :(

We're really struggling for attacking options now so I agree with Giggsy above that we'll likely see Gribbin on the bench. I don't think Shaw can play two games in three days though, and Darmian is well and truly out of favour so I'm leaning towards the team being:

    De Gea

    Lindelof Jones Rojo Blind
    Matic Pogba
    Mata Lingard Mkhitaryan
    Rashford

Not the side I want to see though. Would like to see Rashford and Martial up top with Lingard/Pogba behind but then we'd have nothing of note to bring on.

Jose tried to rest Rashford against Southampton and said he's tired so surely it's Martial to start this one. I doubt Mkhitaryan gets another run out on the left after being so poor either.

You could be right but that looks brutal, I'd rather play 3 at the back and trust Axel at RWB, I also think Martial will start, I can't see Mkhi getting another start after he stunk out Old Trafford yesterday.

Some seriously tired players in our team, especially given he hasn't played very many full games this year.

    No. No Mkhitaryan again.
I think he may make an appearance. As normal, he'll put in a weak performance and stink up the place.
The problem we have is that we are running out of attackers.
Lukaku out. I assume Young is out. Valencia is out. Rashford is tired and out of form.
So, unfortunately, we will be using whichever players are able to play and Miki just happens to be one of those players.

Oh except we can't because half of that team is injured!! Oh well

    --------Pogba---------Matic--------
    Mata---------Lingard----------Martial

Yes you are right, but I'd rather play some kid instead, no one can be worse than Mkhitaryan at this moment IMO, he played like 65 minutes against Southampton and absolutely did nothing, miss pass after another, heavy passes and terrible balls in.

That Martin Keown already done an article about Jose lost the players:rolleyes: I fecking hate the press and pundits in this country. The disgusting Daily Fail accompanied the article with pictures of the lads coming off the coach, not smiling. So that means everyone is fecked off:rolleyes: It's this additional stuff that makes me dread when we lose or draw. Gets on top of my nerves.

We need those 3 points tomorrow by any means.

I am certain we will win tomorrow. Sam has been Jose's b*tch for a long time. 3-1
